Treatment of Investment. 1. Each Party shall maintain favorable conditions for investment in its territory by nationals and companies of the other Party. Each Party shall permit and treat such investment, and activities related therewith, on a basis no less favorable than accorded in like situations to investment or related activities of its own nationals or companies, or of nationals or companies of any third country, whichever is the more favorable.
