TREATMENT OF ANIMALS. The Producers confirm and reiterate their commitment to the principle that animals should be humanely treated during the production of commercials. Any issue relating to this subject may be referred to the Industry-Union Standing Committee under Section 55 of this Contract.

TREATMENT OF ANIMALS. Animal care and use for any Award Research will be carried out in accordance with Applicable Law, including national or international guidelines for animal care and use. In the U.S., this includes the Animal Welfare Act, implementing U.S. Department of Agriculture regulations, the U.S. Public Health Service Policy on Humane Care and Use of Laboratory Animals, National Institutes of Health (including the Office of Laboratory Welfare) compliance materials, and the Institutional Animal Use and Care Committee. Sponsoring Institution shall provide proof of appropriate accreditation, or its equivalent, upon request by FFB. Nothing in this Section awards Awardee the right to use the Award Funds for any purpose other than as set forth in the Approved Budget. By way of example and not limitation, this Section does not allow Award Funds to be used for animal research, tests or studies, except to the extent (if any) specifically set forth in the Approved Budget.
TREATMENT OF ANIMALS. Any mistreatment or abuse of animals will result in immediate termination of membership. MEMBER agrees to treat all animals with utmost respect. DISINFECTING REQUIREMENTS: • Pet Waste Removal Services - Between each client's properties, all MEMBER'S tools and shoes must be properly disinfected with a cleaner formulated specifically to veterinary medical requirements to kill canine parvovirus. The only accepted alternative is the use of chlorine bleach diluted to the manufacturer’s instructions. • Litter Box Services - Litter boxes must be disinfected as mentioned above. Gloves and facemask are recommended for all Members offering this service. All waste must be disposed of according to state and local laws and regulations. Where these laws are lax MEMBER must dispose of waste through a licensed Waste Management company. Local waste management officials must be notified to dispose of waste with MEMBER'S private residential trash.

  • Treatment The Asset Representations Reviewer agrees to hold and treat Confidential Information given to it under this Agreement in confidence and under the terms and conditions of this Section 4.08, and will implement and maintain safeguards to further assure the confidentiality of the Confidential Information. The Confidential Information will not, without the prior consent of the Issuer and the Servicer, be disclosed or used by the Asset Representations Reviewer, or its officers, directors, employees, agents, representatives or affiliates, including legal counsel (collectively, the “Information Recipients”) other than for the purposes of performing Reviews of Review Receivables or performing its obligations under this Agreement.   • TREATMENT OF FRINGE BENEFITS The fringe benefits are charged using the rate(s) listed in the Fringe Benefits Section of this Agreement. The fringe benefits included in the rate(s) are listed below. TREATMENT OF PAID ABSENCES Vacation, holiday, sick leave pay and other paid absences are included in salaries and wages and are claimed on grants, contracts and other agreements as part of the normal cost for salaries and wages. Separate claims are not made for the cost of these paid absences.

  • Service Animals Humber Residences acknowledges the rights of persons with disabilities to retain their service animal while living in Residence. In order to preserve the health and safety of all people and animals living or working in the Residence environment, the Resident will notify the Residence Office that they require a service animal and will provide documentation as outlined in the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act confirming that the Resident requires the service animal. The Resident will also complete a Service Animal Agreement with the Residence Manager or designate, and agrees to adhere to the requirements within it.

  • Substance Abuse Treatment Information Substance abuse treatment information shall be maintained in compliance with 42 C.F.R. Part 2 if the Party or subcontractor(s) are Part 2 covered programs, or if substance abuse treatment information is received from a Part 2 covered program by the Party or subcontractor(s).

  • Treatment Program Testing The Employer may request or require an employee to undergo drug and alcohol testing if the employee has been referred by the employer for chemical dependency treatment or evaluation or is participating in a chemical dependency treatment program under an employee benefit plan, in which case the employee may be requested or required to undergo drug or alcohol testing without prior notice during the evaluation or treatment period and for a period of up to two years following completion of any prescribed chemical dependency treatment program.

  • National Treatment and Non-Discrimination 1. With respect to all laws, regulations, procedures and practices regarding government procurement covered by this Chapter, each Party shall provide immediately and unconditionally to the goods, services and suppliers of another Party a treatment no less favourable than that accorded by it to domestic goods, services and suppliers.

  • Treatment of Client Property Unless otherwise provided, the Contractor shall ensure that any adult client receiving services from the Contractor has unrestricted access to the client’s personal property. The Contractor shall not interfere with any adult client’s ownership, possession, or use of the client’s property. The Contractor shall provide clients under age eighteen (18) with reasonable access to their personal property that is appropriate to the client’s age, development, and needs. Upon termination of services to a client, the Contractor shall immediately release to the client and/or the client’s guardian or custodian all of the client’s personal property.

  • Infectious Diseases The Employer and the Union desire to arrest the spread of infectious diseases in the nursing home. To achieve this objective, the Joint Health and Safety Committee may review and offer input into infection control programs and protocols including surveillance, outbreak control, isolation, precautions, worker education and training, and personal protective equipment. The Employer will provide training and ongoing education in communicable disease recognition, use of personal protective equipment, decontamination of equipment, and disposal of hazardous waste.
