Travel Time Pay. 8.1 An Employee who is not using a company vehicle must report to the job and return to his residence without compensation for traveling expense or traveling time for travel to any job within seventy five (75) lineal miles of the Employer’s shop. If the Employer has no shop as defined in Article 1.6, then mileage will be measured from First and Broadway, San Diego California. All mileage will be computed as miles on the shortest and most direct road, street or highway beyond this area; an Employee will be compensated for traveling time and will be paid traveling expense at the prevailing IRS rate per mile, subject to notification by the Union. Both travel time and travel expenses are to be computed from the end of said seventy five (75) mile limit.
Travel Time Pay. Whenever an employee is required by the Employer to change from one store to another during the same day, all time consumed by said employee in going either to or from one store to another shall be considered and paid for as part of the employee’s regular duties.
Travel Time Pay. The Employer shall provide transportation and pay for actual travel time at the regular straight time rate of pay, but in no case to exceed eight (8) hours pay in any one (1) day.

If equipment breaks down during travel and the Responder requires certain of its personnel to stay with the equipment until repairs are made, the Utility will reimburse the Responder for the actual costs it incurs to pay its personnel, related to equipment repair waiting time. If the Responder is released from mutual aid assistance by the Utility, and travels to a subsequent utility to provide mutual aid, the Utility has no liability for the Responder’s costs incurred for its personnel to travel from the Utility location to the subsequent utility’s location for additional mutual aid assistance.
Travel Time Pay. 23.01 If, while travelling at the request of the Company, an employee is thereby deprived of a day's pay or any part thereof, he shall be compensated for the time lost up to a maximum of seven and one-half (7 1/2) hours at straight time: PROVIDED that if he travels on a day of rest assigned to him, he shall be compensated for the time so travelled, up to a maximum of seven and one-half (7 1/2) hours, at an overtime rate of two (2) times the base rate. Employees who travel on their day of rest for employee discretionary training will not be eligible for travel time pay.
