Common use of Transfers by Landlord Clause in Contracts

Transfers by Landlord. Landlord shall have the right to transfer and assign, in whole or in part, all of its rights and obligations hereunder in the Building. In such event and upon such transfer, no further liability or obligations shall thereafter accrue against the transferring or assigning person as Landlord hereunder with respect to the period after the closing, to the extent such obligations are assumed by such transferee.
