Transfer Eligibility. Any active status employee who has passed his or her probation period may apply for a transfer within their classification.

Transfers from one position to another or from one department to another within this bargaining unit shall be done by mutual agreement until the employee has been in his/her present position at least six (6) months (1,040 hours). Thereafter, employee requests for transfer to job openings in other departments within this bargaining unit will be given fair and reasonable consideration based upon overall practicability, seniority, availability and the ability to do the work in the department to which transfer is requested. Once selected, the employee will be placed in the new position within thirty (30) days.

Bilingual school psychologists shall be able to move to a monolingual school psychologist vacancy with notice to the administrator by February 1.
Transfer Eligibility. 1. SLCC students who intend to transfer to UL Lafayette to pursue the Bachelor of Science in Chemical, Civil, Electrical and Computer, Mechanical, or Petroleum Engineering Degree Program shall sign the Intent to Transfer form. Transfer Eligibility i) When an ETP Position is available under the conditions above, it will be made available to (and only to) employees in the LA who are employed in the equivalent classification in the LA. Employee desires to move “upward” to a position with the RA must do so by competitive examination. The ETP program is a lateral transfer opportunity.
