Transfer Arrangements. An employee who is displaced from his/her job by virtue of technological change or new method of operation will be given the opportunity to fill other vacancies according to seniority, ability and qualifications.

Transfer Arrangements. An employee who is rendered redundant or displaced from their job as a result of technological change shall be given an opportunity to fill any bargaining unit vacancy for which they have seniority and which they are able to perform. If there is no such vacancy, they shall have the right to displace employees with less seniority, provided they are able to perform the job.

Transfer Arrangements. An employee affected by technological and/or organizational change who declines retraining when their job is significantly changed, who is unable to acquire the required skills through retraining or whose job is made redundant, shall be given priority consideration for vacant positions under Article 5.01(a). This applies to any vacancy in the province. The costs of relocation shall be paid by the Employer if there is no alternative position at the current or equivalent salary grade in the same division, branch or regional or area office or information service office as the case may be.
