Transfer Allowance. 29.1 Where practicable, at least fourteen (14) days previous written notice will be given to an employee required to transfer from one hospital to another.

Transfer Allowance. This clause will apply to a Staff Member who is transferred: from a Perth metropolitan campus of the University to a regional or interstate University campus, or vice versa; or between University regional centres; or between intra-state University campuses; provided that no transfer allowance is payable if the Staff Member’s residence is within a 50 km radius of the campus to which the Staff Member is transferred. A Staff Member who is transferred solely at their own request must bear the whole cost of transfer unless otherwise determined by the University.
Transfer Allowance. 14.6.1 A worker on transfer, at the Employer’s initiative, which necessitates him/her changing his place of abode, shall be paid a ‘settling-in’ allowance for the first two (2) months which may be paid in advance. However, if he/she is unable to find reasonable accommodation in his/her new area, he/she may apply for a further allowance at the said rate each month provided that the transfer allowance shall not be paid beyond a maximum of six (6) months. The transfer allowance shall be at the rate of $540.00 per month.
