Transaction of Business. Subject to the provisions of Section 4.09, the powers of a committee of directors may be exercised by a meeting at which a quorum is present or by resolution in writing signed by all the members of such committee who would have been entitled to vote on that resolution at a meeting of the committee. Meetings of such committee may be held at any place in or outside Canada.
Transaction of Business. The transaction of any business by Union representatives, shop stewards or other agents shall be conducted in an appropriate location (i.e., areas other than patient care areas) and shall not interfere with the Employer’s business or the work of employees. The transaction of Union business shall be on the employee’s own time, except when the Employer or an employee calls in a shop xxxxxxx during the xxxxxxx’x working hours to be present for an investigative or disciplinary meeting and the shop xxxxxxx has obtained approval from his or her supervisor.
Transaction of Business. Meetings of such committee may be held at any place in or outside of Québec and, subject to the provisions of paragraph 3.14 which apply with the necessary modifications, the meetings may be held by telephone, electronic or other communication facility.
Transaction of Business. A majority of the members of the Committee at the time in office shall constitute a quorum for the transaction of business. All resolutions or other actions taken by the Committee at any meeting shall be by vote of a majority of those present at any such meeting and entitled to vote. Resolutions may be adopted or other action taken without a meeting upon written consent thereto signed by all of the members of the Committee.
Transaction of Business. Duly authorized representatives of the MSCF shall be permitted to transact official MSCF business on college premises at reasonable times, provided that this shall not unduly interfere with nor interrupt the operations of the college. The MSCF may use the college distribution service and faculty member mailboxes for communications to faculty members.
Transaction of Business. Duly authorized representatives of the Association shall be permitted to transact official Association business on school premises contingent upon the approval of the building principal, provided that this shall not interfere with nor interrupt the normal operations of the school. The Association may use the District mail service and employee mail boxes for communications to employees. This cannot be used for endorsement of political candidates, and any abuse of this privilege will result in its immediate termination.
Transaction of Business. No business shall be transacted at any time by the Owners’ Committee unless a quorum is present when the meeting proceeds to business and 50% of the members of the Owners’ Committee (rounded up to the nearest whole number) or 3 such members, whichever is the greater, shall be a quorum. If within half an hour for the time appointed for the meeting a quorum is not present, the meeting if convened upon the requisition of members of the Owners’ Committee, shall be dissolved; if convened by the Manager, it shall stand adjourned to the same day in the next week at the same time and place, and, if at the adjourned meeting a quorum is not present within half an hour from the time appointed for the meeting, the members of the Owners’ Committee present shall be a quorum.
Transaction of Business. Representatives of the Association will be permitted to transact Association business on school property, provided that classroom activities are not interrupted.
Transaction of Business. All resolutions or other actions taken by the Committee at any meeting shall be by vote of a majority of those present at any such meeting and entitled to vote. Resolutions may be adopted or other action taken without a meeting upon written consent thereto signed by all of the members of the Committee.
Transaction of Business. Provided that notice of a meeting has been given in the manner set forth herein, a Quorum shall be entitled to transact business at any meeting of the Executive Committee. (f)
