Training Travel. Employees who are required to attend training on their normally scheduled work day shall be paid their appropriate hourly rate for those hours in attendance during training. When training is provided on a regularly scheduled day off, employees shall receive time off in lieu at a mutually agreeable time. Should reassignment to training result in a reduction of hours from regular duty, an employee will not have their pay reduced. When travelling time during off duty hours is necessary to attend training, employees shall receive time off in lieu at a mutually agreeable time.

Training Travel. Time spent in travel to and from mandated training will be considered time spent on-duty and will be treated as hours worked.
Training Travel. Room and Board Employees shall be compensated at the proper rate of pay for hours spent at training or schooling that is approved in advance by WSF. Transportation, room and board (when required) that is approved in advance by WSF and is in accordance with applicable State policy shall be paid by WSF. Mileage will be paid, where applicable, at the rate allowed by applicable State policy for use of private automobiles.
Training Travel. Cost - Insert the actual/final travel cost excluding per diem for training completed by the employee that was paid for by the Federal Government.
Training Travel. The City recognizes its obligation and responsibility to provide training for employees and to adequately credit such training in accordance with the City's Personnel Rules. Training other than safety mandated training will be provided as funds will allow. The cost of any and all training required by the City shall be borne by the City. Employees who attend such required training shall be compensated in accordance with the terms of this memorandum of Understanding. Compensation for any required training to include payment for all hours employees are required to attend any such training, including travel time to and from the training site. When travel time exceeds the employee’s normal work day or workweek, overtime provisions contained within this MOU shall apply. In determining overtime compensation, normal commute time should be deducted from the total travel time. Additionally, normal unpaid meal periods are not considered work time when traveling. When combining business and personal travel time, department head approval is required. If this extended period occurs during regular scheduled work hours, the time will be counted as vacation or other similar leave, comp time (if available) or leave without pay. Travel time is compensable work time when it occurs during the employee’s regular working hours. If the travel occurs during normal working hours on nonworking days (i.e., Saturday or Sunday for an employee who works Monday to Friday) the time is compensable. Overnight travel that occurs outside of regular working hours as a passenger on an airplane, train, boat, bus or car and where the employee is free to relax is not counted as travel time unless the overnight travel is necessary to accommodate the schedule of any city required training. Employees who perform work while traveling must be compensated. If travel is by automobile, the employee must be compensated for all of the travel time except when the employee is on a bona fide meal break or is provided sleeping facilities. If an employee is offered the option of public transportation but chooses to drive, the employer may count as hours worked either the time spent driving or the time that would have had to be counted if public transportation had been taken. If the travel is overnight and done outside work hours, the travel time is not compensable.
Training Travel. When an employee is traveling for training, the University shall 21 flex their shift to coincide with the travel time if the employee has flexed their shift to coincide 22 with the schedule of the training for the duration of the training and return travel. 23 24 Section 15.

Related to Training Travel

  • Training a. The employer, in consultation with the local, shall be responsible for developing and implementing an ongoing harassment and sexual harassment awareness program for all employees. Where a program currently exists and meets the criteria listed in this agreement, such a program shall be deemed to satisfy the provisions of this article. This awareness program shall initially be for all employees and shall be scheduled at least once annually for all new employees to attend.

  • Training Program It is agreed that there shall be an Apprenticeship Training Program, the provisions of which are set forth in Exhibit "C", which is attached hereto and forms part of this Agreement.

  • Training Programs All employees shall successfully complete all necessary training prior to being assigned work (e.g., all employees will complete health and safety training prior to being assigned to task). Nothing in this Article or provision shall constitute a waiver of either party’s bargaining obligations or defenses. The Employer still has an obligation to notify and bargain changes in terms and conditions of employment with the exclusive representative.

  • Trainings iv. Appointment of any length involving two (2) or more Consumers who might need to split up to join different trainings, group discussions, etc.

  • First Aid Training In the interests of the occupational safety and health of employees, the Employer will undertake an in-service program of first aid training aimed at providing a first aid officer for each department.

  • Training Courses 16.3.1 Training courses will be as described in the Seller’s customer services catalog (the “Seller’s Customer Services Catalog”). The Seller’s Customer Services Catalog also sets forth the minimum and maximum number of trainees per course. All training requests or training course changes made outside of the scope of the Training Conference will be submitted by the Buyer with a minimum of ***** prior notice.
