Training Review Committee. The Company will recognize the Union’s Training Review Committee, which will consist of no more than three (3) members selected by the Union, and will meet with the Committee on an as-requested basis, but no more than monthly, to discuss training programs and procedures. The Company will review with the Committee any new procedures or changes in procedures prior to publication, and the Committee’s recommendations will be given appropriate consideration. The Company will notify the MEC President in advance of the train-the-trainer class dates. The Training Review Committee may attend the classes and make recommendations regarding new procedures.

Training Review Committee. The Company and the Union agree that it is mutually beneficial to both parties to advance the learning of employees through education and training. The parties agree that employee training has positive effects on product quality and productivity and provides employees opportunities to expand their knowledge and improve their sense of accomplishment. The parties further agree that employee education and training requires both co-operation and commitment of both the Company and the Union. The parties agree that seniority shall be taken into consideration in the offering of training opportunities. Furthering this, the parties agree to establish New Flyer - UNIFOR Training Review Committee. This Committee is to be comprised of four (4) representatives from the Union, to be designated by the Labour Management Committee and four (4) representatives from the Company. This Committee will meet on a monthly basis to address areas of concern where improved training and education are required and to act on these issues. Meetings may be held more frequently as mutually agreed by the parties. The successful completion of a training program does not mean that an employee will be immediately advanced to the classification for which the training program is a qualifier. All promotions are subject to the job posting procedure. The Training Review Committee will be responsible for the following:

  • Review Committee A Student may ask that the decision of the Housing Director or designee to deny the cancellation be reviewed. The review will be conducted by a committee consisting of University officials.

  • Training Committee The parties to this Agreement may form a Training Committee. The Training Committee will be constituted by equal numbers of Employer nominees and ETU employee representatives and have a charter which clearly states its role and responsibilities. It shall monitor the clauses of this Agreement which relate to training and ensure all employees have equal access to training.

  • JOINT LABOR MANAGEMENT COMMITTEE In order to encourage open communication, promote harmonious labor relations, and resolve matters of mutual concern, the parties agree to create a joint labor- management committee. The committee will be governed by the following principles:

  • Joint Labor/Management Committees Purpose and Membership. Joint Labor/Management Committees are established to provide a forum for communications and problem-solving between the two parties and to deal with matters of a general personnel Union/Employer concern, as well as professional practices within the hospital related to patient care and professional issues. The Committees will work toward the improvement of patient care and recommend ways and means to improve patient care; and will address problems and concerns related to staffing and workloads. The Committees’ function will be limited to an advisory capacity and shall not include any decision making or collective bargaining authority. Committee memberships:

  • Staffing Committee A. Responsibilities. The Nurse Staffing Committee (“NSC”) shall be responsible for determining the Institute’s staffing plan and resolving complaints raised by nurses regarding the implementation of the plan as well as those activities required of it under RCW 70.41, et seq and its successors.

  • Joint Job Evaluation Committee The parties entered into agreement December 17, 1992, to ensure the Joint Gender- Neutral Job Evaluation Plan remains current and operational and to that end endorsed the Joint Gender-Neutral Job Evaluation Maintenance Agreement. The parties agree that a guiding principle for the Committee is that there shall be no discrimination between male and female employees wherein a person of one sex is paid more than a person of the other sex for similar or substantially similar work.

  • LABOR MANAGEMENT COMMITTEE 1. A Statewide Labor Management Committee consisting of not more than five (5) members selected by the VSEA from among bargaining units represented by VSEA and not more than five (5) members selected by the State shall meet periodically to discuss a mutually agreed agenda which may include methods of improving labor relations, productivity, safety, and health problems of a continuing nature, or other problems which have an impact on conditions of employment; provided, however, these sessions are not for the purpose of discussing pending grievances or for collective bargaining on any subject.

  • Technical Committee 1. The Technical Committee shall comprise:

  • JOINT LABOUR MANAGEMENT COMMITTEE 18.01 A Joint Labour Management Committee shall be established to attend to those matters which are of mutual interest. To ensure its effectiveness the Committee shall be separate and apart from the grievance procedure.

  • Study Committee The parties shall utilize the Benefits Advisory Committee, with equal membership by the State and the VSEA, for the purpose of reviewing all issues related to health care and prescription drugs, and recommending changes to the bargaining committees. The parties shall also establish a special study committee to evaluate the current health plans, and make recommendations to the bargaining committees of the State and employees for sustainable savings in the health care plans.
