A replacement of one of the aforementioned named participants is only possible if the replaced participant has not yet attended a training module.

C9 An employee shall be classified at C9 if they: • Perform straightforward sampling and testing within one scientific discipline using relevant procedures, Australian Standards and readily available advice • Operate test equipment and instruments and make limited adjustments to their controls • Process and record data and recognise trends and out of control conditions ▪ Solve predictable problems using clear information or known solutions. Where alternatives exist, they are limited and apparent. ▪ Work under close and regular supervision, although they may have autonomy for specific tasks and responsibility for their own outputs • Take decisions within defined limits of responsibility. Such employees are, where required, also able to: • Communicate with other people • Process and record data • Maintain the laboratory fit for purpose • Work safely in accordance with defined policies and procedures • Follow established work plan • Contribute to the achievement of quality objectives • Work efficiently as part of a team • Calibrate test equipment and assist with its maintenance C7 An employee shall be classified at C7 if they: • Perform a wide range of sampling and testing that requires the application of a broad technical knowledge and some scientific knowledge within one scientific discipline. • Work according to established procedures in a structured environment • Collect and prepare samples • Conduct a wide range of basic tests and a limited range of specialised tests and measurements using manual, semi-automated and fully automated techniques • Define and solve problems of limited complexity where the information available is obvious, but not contradictory, and can be determined by direct reasoning • Work under the direction and regular supervision of senior technical staff, laboratory or quality managers, or scientific/medical personnel. Training Package. All the resources on the Training Portal will be advertised and disseminated as one unique consistent package. A flyer has been prepared to allow its promotion and dissemination, see Figure 12.
Training Package. Objective: Prepare the training package including manual, visual aids, and auxiliary equipment for use in the training program. Governing Documents: Process: Our preferred process is to form a training IPT composed of AV instructors and customer representatives. The initial effort is to closely define the specific needs for the customer and cover aspects such as format, available training sites and facilities, desired class sizes, mission specific requirements, and special needs. The IPT then tailors our standard training course and materials to a custom training package. This package is dry-run through our training team, and released through our document control system.
