Training Fund. Employers and/or individuals who manage, operate, assist or own, either partially or wholly, a company or companies working non-union in the construction industry on Mainland Nova Scotia within the craft jurisdiction of xxx Xxxxxxxxxx Local 83 shall not be eligible to be appointed to serve, or to continue to serve, as trustees on any trust fund referred to within this Collective Agreement. This provision shall apply to management trustees and union trustees alike.
Training Fund. The Employer(s) shall contribute the amount established in the respective wage schedule per hour for every hour of labour worked by his Employee(s) covered by the terms of this Agreement to the United Association Canadian Training Trust Fund.
Training Fund. It is agreed that the Parties shall institute a Training Fund to be governed and controlled by the Administration Agreement between the Parties, and the employer shall contribute and remit sixty- one cents ($0.61) per hour to: The Administrator - Ironworkers Rebar Training Fund 00 Xxxxxxxx Xxxx Xxxxx, Xxxx 000 Xxxxxxxx, XX X0X 0X0 In the event the Training Fund is discontinued, forty-six cents ($0.46) would be returned to the employee’s wage package and fifteen cents ($0.15) would be deducted from the wage package. Out of this fund, three quarters (3/4) of one percent (1%) of the applicable Journeyperson’s wage rate for each hour worked will be paid to the Ironworkers Progressive Action Cooperative Trust (IMPACT).
Training Fund. The FTI will consist of an equal number of members designated by the Associations and by District Council 21, with the right of each party to replace any of their designees. Refer to “Recognition” clause – Article 1. The FTI shall be authorized to determine expenditures necessary for the proper functioning of the Training Program, such as a Coordinator, instructors, materials, equipment and such other items for personnel and training as deemed necessary. Revenue for the Training Fund shall be provided by a contribution of the then current amounts provided herein per hour, per EMPLOYEE, paid by EMPLOYERS. This Payment shall be made in accordance with Article 13, Section 13.13.1 The FTI Trustees are hereby authorized to adopt such rules and procedures as it deems necessary and same shall bind all signatories to this Agreement.
Training Fund. 5.01 The Employer agrees to contribute the sum of Fifty Cents ($0.50) per hour for each hour worked by each Operator in their employ to the International Union of Operating Engineers Training Fund (includes five cents ($0.05) per hour to the National Training Fund).
Training Fund. The Employer shall pay on behalf of each of his employees into the Local Training and Rehabilitation Trust Fund a training contribution in the amount of ten cents per hour for each hour worked by each employee.
Training Fund. Contingent upon the Funds being jointly trusteed, the Employer shall contribute for each hour worked by each Employee the amount scheduled in accordance with the attached Appendices A through D and forming part of this Agreement, to the International Union of Operating Engineers , Local 870, to the Operating Engineers, Local 870, Training Fund Pension Plan. Such contributions are to be remitted not later than the fifteenth (15) day of the following month. Such deductions are made to the International Union of Operating Engineers, Training Trust Fund, Box 1112; Xxxxxxxxx, Xxxxxxxxxxxx; X0X 0X0.
Training Fund. The College and the Union are committed to provide development opportunities for the professional growth of employees of this bargaining unit. In the mutual interest of the College and the Union, the College shall budget funds for the purposes of staff development. The amount allocated for each fiscal year of this Agreement is $6,000.
Training Fund. In addition to other training funds available in the District, the District will make available $3,000 dollars each year to be available for employees, upon request, who wish to enhance their skills in their current position or who wish training in areas which conform to District adopted goals. If the training fund is exhausted in any one year the S.W.E.O.P. President shall be notified and upon request by the S.W.E.O.P. President to the Superintendent, additional funds of up to $1,000 shall be added. The parties agree to establish an Oversight Committee to develop procedures and standards for applying for these funds. The Committee will consist of two persons appointed by the District and three persons appointed by S.W.E.O.P.. The Committee will meet within three weeks of ratification to review the adopted procedures for applying for funds and standards to be used in allocating the funds in order to determine if changes need to be made and to plan for the upcoming year. The Committee will appoint two of its members to approve specific requests. Any disagreements which may arise will be referred to a special meeting of the entire Committee. If disagreements still exist after such meeting, the matter will be referred to the Executive Director for Human Resources and the S.W.E.O.P. President for resolution. Newly hired employees or current employees assigned to a new position shall be given a period of orientation and indoctrination at the commencement of their employment in the new position. The employee shall receive full pay at the rate set out for the employee’s assigned salary classification during the period of orientation and indoctrination to be paid for by the District. The Executive Director of Human Resources, the Principal, the Secretary, S.W.E.O.P. President or designee, and the former Secretary (when possible) shall jointly determine how many days are needed.
