Common use of TRAINING AND RELATED MATTERS Clause in Contracts

TRAINING AND RELATED MATTERS. 32.1 The parties are committed to the promotion of a highly skilled industry that delivers ongoing employment opportunities and a world-class end product through an efficient and safe construction process. To this end, the Employer agrees that appropriate training, including the engagement and training of apprentices, and skills development for the workforce will be provided during the term of this Agreement. For the avoidance of doubt, this commitment shall be consistent with, but not in addition to, the Employer’s BPP obligations and/or associated contractual obligations. Where a discrepancy exists, the Employer’s BPP obligations and/or associated contractual obligations shall prevail.
