Traffic accident. This cover only comes into effect after all the applicable insurance cover subscribed to by the policy holder or from which they benefit, has been exhausted, as well as after all motor vehicle insurance, whether private or mandatory, offering cover for medical, hospital of therapy costs. Consequently, any claims must first be made to the motor vehicle insurance companies of all the drivers involved in the accident. To be able to benefit from cover of unpaid costs by the Assistance, the policy holder must supply a certificate written by the said company or companies, stating that all the cover for their contracts has been exhausted. By filling in a declaration, you undertake to provide all the information required by the insurance company. Only original invoices are accepted as proof of the supplied services.

Traffic accident. The definition of a traffic accident is an accident with the vehicle where another vehicle is involved, or where a pedestrian is involved, or where an animal is involved. Important: Single vehicle accidents, defined as losing control of the vehicle, for any reason whatsoever and under any circumstances whatsoever where there is no third party involved, are not covered by the insurance.   • SAFETY AND ACCIDENT PREVENTION In performing work under this Contract on State premises, Contractor shall conform to any specific safety requirements contained in the Contract or as required by law or regulation.   • Traffic Control The Surveyor shall control traffic in and near surveying operations adequately to comply with provisions of the latest edition of the Texas Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices – Part VI which can be found on the State’s internet site. In the event field crew personnel must divert traffic or close traveled lanes, a Traffic Control Plan based upon principles outlined in the latest edition of the Texas Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices – Part VI shall be prepared by the Surveyor and approved by the State prior to commencement of field work. A copy of the approved plan shall be in the possession of field crew personnel on the job site at all times and shall be made available to the State’s personnel for inspection upon request.

  • Accident INVESTIGATIONS Whenever an accident occurs involving the equipment or personnel of a Supporting Party, the Protecting Party shall take immediate steps to notify the Supporting Party that an accident has occurred. As soon as practical, the Protecting Party shall initiate an investigation of the accident. A team made up of appropriate representatives from all affected agencies shall conduct the investigation. Costs for investigation personnel are Party-specific and will be borne by the sending Party. Other accident or incident investigation costs are the fiscal responsibility of the Party (ies) that has jurisdiction and/or investigative responsibility. The sharing of information between Parties on accident investigations and their findings and probable causes is a valuable tool for safety and must be encouraged.
