TRADING DAYS. The exchange of work days may be permitted with the approval of the Chief of Police or the command officer it was requested of, however, sick days shall never be exchanged, traded in, given away or transferred. If an officer agrees to exchange work days and fails to appear for duty, he/she shall be held responsible for failure to appear that day.
