Trade Days. Faculty may request that non-contracted days be substituted for regularly-scheduled contracted days to perform College- and class-related work. The faculty and the xxxx will agree on the work to be done and the contract days to be traded.

Trade Days. Upon the prior approval of the shift supervisors, employees shall be allowed by mutual agreement to trade days off on the same shifts, or shifts within the same week, where the employees are assigned different shifts, subject to the approval of the Chief of Police or Safety Director, which approval shall not be unreasonably withheld. The present practice regarding the exchange of shift schedules shall be maintained, provided no mandatory overtime payments are involved.
Trade Days. To make a switch with another employee covering scheduled work days, both employees are to fill out a Request for Trade Days form, which is to be dated by the Shift Supervisor. The Administration reserves the right to approve or disapprove all requests for trade days, with such decisions only being made by the Executive Director or full-time supervisor. If the Executive Director or full-time supervisor is not scheduled on a specific date, Monday through Friday, then approval can be delegated to the supervisor on duty for that day. Whenever an employee calls off on a trade day, he/she shall not be permitted to trade days for two (2) months. The Executive Director will review any denial of a Trade Day on written request by any bargaining unit member and the Executive Director will inform the member of his/her decision.
Trade Days. Personnel who have a need for trade days and who can meet the provisions of the below guidelines may file a “Trade day” request with their respective Division Lieutenant or his/her Designee. The Division Lieutenant/Designee shall be responsible to screen all trade day requests. Said request shall be granted or denied based on but not limited to the following criteria:

Trade Days. Section 28.1: During fiscal year 2004-2005 only, the employer agrees to initiate a pilot program for the purpose of affording bargaining unit members the opportunity to trade days with other bargaining unit members, subject to the following conditions:
Trade Days. Police Department employees shall be allowed, by mutual agreement, to trade days off on the same shift or shifts. An employee may also, by mutual agreement, trade days with another employee on another shift. Such trading must be submitted to the Chief of Police in writing for approval by the Chief. Shift supervisors will be notified of such “trades” either by the Chief of Police or the parties making trade. A trade of shifts may not result in additional cost to the City. The employees trading shifts are responsible for working the changed shift.
Trade Days. Police Officers and Firefighters may trade days, with a like employee subject to the approval of the Chief of Police, Fire Chief or the City Administrator in the Chief's absence. Requests for each trade shall be made at least 48 hours prior to commencement of the affected shift and must occur during the work period dependent on employee’s schedule. (ie: 7 day work week or 7k work period) Two employees may agree in writing, solely at their option and with the advanced written approval of the Chief or designee, to substitute for one another during scheduled hours of work. The City shall have no obligation to keep track of substitutions, or to ensure that a substitution is reciprocated. The employees involved in the trade shall receive pay as if they had worked the regularly assigned shift. Use of trade time itself will not incur any additional overtime obligations for the City.
