Tools of Trade. (a) The employer shall provide all tools of trade.

Tools of Trade. 28.1 The objective of this clause is to recognise that some tools are no longer appropriate and that electric power tools have now become a pre-requisite for modern projects. Accordingly, Employees will provide all tools as listed in Appendix B, C, D and E as per their appropriate trade.

Tools of Trade. 5.4.1 All Employees (except for Apprentices) shall supply, maintain, and bring to work daily, a full set of basic hand and power tools. This basic set of tools shall be agreed upon by both the new Employee and the Company at the time of engagement. The Company shall replace tools if damage or destruction to tools occurs during its regular use. First & second year Apprentices will, within 3 months of the start of their apprenticeship, receive a basic set of hand tools supplied by the Company. The Apprentice will keep and own these tools upon completion of their apprenticeship. If the Apprentice, for any reason, does not complete their apprenticeship, the tools will be returned to the Company. ITE may also provide a set of power tools for use by the apprentice which will be kept by the apprentice’s tradesmen/team leader.
