Common use of Tool Replacement Clause in Contracts

Tool Replacement. ‌ Hand tools and equipment, replaced under the subsection, are defined as all those hand tools and equipment originally purchased by an employee and used to do construction and repair work for Alameda Municipal Power. AMP is authorized to replace certain personal hand tools worn out in the course of employment. AMP will replace a unit, at AMP expense, only it if is worn out by the employee while doing work for AMP. No unit will be replaced unless the used, worn-out unit is turned in at the time replacement is requested.
