To Promote Safety. Safety headgear, eye protection, rubber gloves (electrical), and similar items which are designed exclusively for the safety of employees and the wearing of which is made obligatory on certain types of work, will be provided by the Company. Special footwear will be provided for the safety of workers when required to work near forebays, sluices, etc., under icy, slippery or otherwise hazardous conditions. Safety Footwear: I Employees required to wear protective footwear will be reimbursed as follows: A deductible of twenty-five per cent (25%), to a maximum of $25.00, will apply to each purchase of CSA Approved Electrical Shock Resistant (ESR) footwear as described in paragraphs 1 and 2 below.
