TITLE AND DISPOSITION OF PROPERTY. In this paragraph, “property” means any tangible personal property other than consumable property, which is actually consumed during the execution of effort under a Research Project Award. The Research Project Awardee must obtain approval from the CM and the AO prior to purchasing property using Government funds. Property listed in a Research Project Proposal that results in a Research Project Award is considered as having received AO approval.

Title shall vest only in an entity that is legally permitted to hold title to such real property and equipment. TITLE AND DISPOSITION OF PROPERTY. In this article “property” means the sample * and * delivered in accordance with the SOW. All title to property delivered to the Government shall vest in the Government upon the Government’s acceptance of such property, provided, however that the Government shall only have the right to use the property for the purposes of conducting animal testing in connection with the Government’s research under this Agreement. In no event may any of such property be used by the Government for commercial purposes. For all equipment purchased solely pursuant to this Agreement that the Contractor charges as an allowable cost to the Government hereunder, the Other Transaction Contracting Officer may direct the Contractor to transfer title (if not already transferred) to such equipment and, as directed by the Other Transaction Contracting Officer, deliver such equipment to the Government.
