Title 18A. 2. The Board shall grant child-rearing leaves of absence without pay to teachers or employees under the following terms:
Title 18A. 2. Secretarial and custodial staff personnel shall have at least one formal evaluation per year.
Title 18A. B. If a ten (10) month unit member has been employed for part of the school year, an increment of service shall not be granted unless the unit member has been under contract with the Board of Education of Xxxxxxx Township for at least ninety- three (93) days. A unit member who has completed two (2) marking periods is also eligible for an increment. If a twelve (12) month unit member has been employed for part of the school year, an increment of service shall not be granted unless the unit member has been under contract with the Board of Education of Xxxxxxx Township for at least one hundred twenty-one (121) days.
Title 18A. D. Any tenured or non-tenured teacher seeking disability due to pregnancy shall be entitled to those days specified by law and shall apply to the Board at least sixty (60) days prior to the beginning of the leave and specify the date the leave will commence. At the time of the application, the teacher shall also specify in writing the date on which she wishes to return to work. Teachers on maternity leave shall be expected to return to work at the beginning of a new school year or at a time agreed to by the Board of Education. The Board may require any teacher to produce a certificate from a physician in support of the requested leave date. The Board may change the requested date upon determining that the granting of a leave for the dates stipulated and medically confirmed would interfere with the educational community of the school. By no later than March 31 of a school year, the teacher shall advise the Board in writing that she intends to return at the beginning of the next school year.
Title 18A. 30-4: In case of sick leave claimed, a Board of Education may require a physician's certificate to be filed with the secretary of the Board of Education in order to obtain sick leave.

Title 18A. F. The Board is under no compulsion to continue the employment of a non-tenured employee beyond the contracted period so long as the non-renewal of employment is not based upon a condition of pregnancy or childbirth. The maternity leave shall not be counted for tenure purposes.

  • Civil Rights Title Vi Assurances A. Compliance with Nondiscrimination Requirements During the performance of this Contract, the Design Professional, for itself, its assignees, and successors in interest (hereinafter referred to as the “Design Professional”) agrees as follows:

  • California Labor Code Requirements a. Consultant is aware of the requirements of California Labor Code Sections 1720 et seq. and 1770 et seq., which require the payment of prevailing wage rates and the performance of other requirements on certain “public works” and “maintenance” projects (“Prevailing Wage Laws”). If the services are being performed as part of an applicable “public works” or “maintenance” project, as defined by the Prevailing Wage Laws, and if the total compensation is One Thousand Dollars and Zero Cents ($1,000.00) or more, Consultant agrees to fully comply with such Prevailing Wage Laws. Consultant shall defend, indemnify and hold the City, its officials, officers, employees and agents free and harmless from any claims, liabilities, costs, penalties or interest arising out of any failure or alleged failure to comply with the Prevailing Wage Laws. It shall be mandatory upon the Consultant and all subconsultants to comply with all California Labor Code provisions, which include but are not limited to prevailing wages (Labor Code Sections 1771, 1774 and 1775), employment of apprentices (Labor Code Section 1777.5), certified payroll records (Labor Code Sections 1771.4 and 1776), hours of labor (Labor Code Sections 1813 and 1815) and debarment of contractors and subcontractors (Labor Code Section 1777.1). The requirement to submit certified payroll records directly to the Labor Commissioner under Labor Code section 1771.4 shall not apply to work performed on a public works project that is exempt pursuant to the small project exemption specified in Labor Code Section 1771.4.

  • FEDERAL, STATE, AND LOCAL REQUIREMENTS Respondent shall demonstrate on- site compliance with the Federal Tax Reform Act of 1986, Section 1706, amending Section 530 of the Revenue Act of 1978, dealing with issuance of Form W-2's to common law employees. Respondent is responsible for both federal and State unemployment insurance coverage and standard Workers’ Compensation insurance coverage. Respondent shall ensure compliance with all federal and State tax laws and withholding requirements. The City of Xxxxxx shall not be liable to Respondent or its employees for any Unemployment or Workers' Compensation coverage, or federal or State withholding requirements. Contractor shall indemnify the City of Xxxxxx and shall pay all costs, penalties, or losses resulting from Respondent's omission or breach of this Section.

  • Statutory Penalties The defendant understands that upon his plea of guilty to Count One of the indictment charging him with conspiracy, the maximum penalty the Court may impose is not more than five years of imprisonment, a $250,000.00 fine, three years of supervised release, an order of restitution, and a $100.00 mandatory special assessment which must be paid in full at the time of sentencing. The defendant further understands that this offense is a Class D felony.

  • COMPLIANCE WITH FEDERAL, STATE AND LOCAL REGULATIONS If required within the Authorized User Agreement, Contractor will provide verification of compliance with specific Federal, State and local regulations, laws and IT standards that the Authorized User is required to comply with. See Appendix F – Primary Security and Privacy Mandates. AUTHENTICATION TOKENS The Authorized User Agreement may require authentication tokens for all systems. For more details, please see NYS ITS Policy S14-006 Authentication Tokens Standard or successor. MODIFICATION TO CLOUD SERVICE DELIVERY TYPE AND DESCRIPTION WITHIN AN AUTHORIZED USER AGREEMENT As Cloud services can be flexible and dynamic, delivery mechanisms may be subject to change. This may result in changes to the service type, description, or SKU. The State and Authorized Users require notification of any such changes to ensure security and business needs are met. Any changes to the description, type of service(s), or SKU (e.g., PaaS to IaaS) must be provided to OGS via Appendix C - Contract Modification Procedure. In addition, notification must be provided to the Authorized User for review and acceptance, prior to implementation. Any changes to the Authorized User Agreement will require the Authorized User to re-assess the risk mitigation methodologies and strategies and revise the Authorized User Agreement as needed.
