TIMELY PAYMENT OF OVERTIME Sample Clauses

TIMELY PAYMENT OF OVERTIME. The parties agree that overtime will be compensated in accordance with 29 C.F.R. §778.106. Generally, this requires that overtime compensation earned in a particular work period must be paid by the regular payday for the pay period in which the work period ends. When the correct amount of overtime compensation cannot be determined until sometime after the end of the regular pay period, the overtime compensation will be paid as soon after the regular pay period as is practicable. Payment may not be delayed for a period longer than is reasonably necessary for the employer to compute and arrange for payment of the amount due.
