Timely Notification. With respect to a claim by a Recipient for indemnification or payment of additional amounts pursuant to this Section 11.1, the Borrower shall not be required to compensate such Recipient for any amount in respect of which the Recipient has received notice of claim, adjustment or assessment more than six (6) months prior to the date that such person notifies the Borrower of the event that gives rise to such claim; provided that, if the circumstance giving rise to such claim is retroactive, then such 6-month period referred to above shall be extended to include the period of retroactive effect thereof.

Whenever possible, the College will provide individual employment assignments, which specify the assigned course, number of credits and rate of pay at least two (2) weeks before the start of the semester. If a course, which has been offered and accepted by an adjunct member, is cancelled for any reason, including insufficient registration, the College will make every effort to notify the adjunct no later than two (2) days after the cancellation.
