Time Off for Grievances. If an employee desires the assistance of a representative of the Association in the processing of a grievance, the City agrees to permit one (1) Association representative reasonable time off during regular work hours, without loss of compensation or other benefits for this purpose. The grievant and/or authorized representative shall obtain the approval of their immediate supervisor before leaving their duty or work station or assignment for the purpose of processing a grievance.
Time Off for Grievances. Employees who have filed a grievance in accordance with the grievance procedure, Article 8, shall be granted time off work with pay when a grievance hearing or an adjudication hearing is held.

In the event a bargaining unit member is requested by the administration to act upon a grievance during working hours, he/she shall notify his/her department head before he/she leaves and upon returning, report to said department head. The Board shall pay the bargaining unit member(s) at his/her regular rate for reasonable time spent during his/her regular working hours in processing grievances and collective bargaining in accordance with the provisions of this Agreement. Time spent by the employee beyond regular working hours shall not mandate overtime payment.
Time Off for Grievances. In the event a xxxxxxx/an employee of this unit is requested by the administration to act upon a grievance during working hours, he/she is subject to the same notification/scheduling provisions as other leaves or vacation time. The College shall pay the officer member(s) and/or the employee at their regular rate for all time spent during their regular working hours in processing grievances and collective bargaining in accordance with the provisions of this Agreement. Time spent by the employee beyond regular hours shall not be eligible for compensation.
Time Off for Grievances. An employee shall be permitted the necessary time off without loss of pay or benefits to be present at any stage in the grievance and arbitration procedure if so requested by either party.
Time Off for Grievances. If it is necessary for a xxxxxxx or other employee to take time off during working hours in connection with a grievance, he must receive permission from his xxxxxxx or shift boss. Such permission shall not be unreasonably withheld.

SECTION A For the purpose of this Agreement, representatives of the UNION who are employees of die EMPLOYER involved in a grievance which is being handled with the EMPLOYER will not suffer a deduction in pay for time spent during regular working hours attending meetings with the EMPLOYER'S officials.

Time Off for Grievances. An EMPLOYEE who wishes to be released from work to participate in the investigation or processing of a grievance may do so only through the provisions of Board Policy covering unpaid leaves of absence. Upon request of the ASSOCIATION President and as provided in Part A, Section 5.4, EMPLOYEES who are participating in a Step IV arbitration hearing may use ASSOCIATI ON Leave to attend the hearing.
Time Off for Grievances. Section 1: Whenever it is necessary for the President or the authorized representative of the Association to take time off for investigation or processing a grievance, he/she will give his/her Department Head reasonable notice of his/her absence. Whenever it is necessary for those Association members to be absent from work to attend a grievance meeting, they shall give their Department Head reasonable prior notice thereof.
