Time Off for. Any representative of the Union on this committee, or their alternate, who is in the employ of the Employer, shall have the privilege of attending meetings of the committee held within working hours without loss of remuneration, provided that the Senior Administrator has prior notice.

Time Off for. Where meetings of the Bargaining Committee occur during working hours, Union members of the Committee shall not suffer loss of remuneration due to attendance at such meetings.

Time Off for. Every employee who is a qualified elector in municipal or provincial election shall, for the purpose of casting his/her vote on an election day, be excused from his/her regular duties for a period sufficient to allow him/her three consecutive hours immediately prior to the closing of the polls. Every employee who is a qualified elector under the Canada Election Act shall, for the purpose of casting his/her vote on an election day, be excused from his/her regular duties for a period sufficient to allow him/her four consecutive hours immediately prior to the closing of the polls. The above shall not apply if the employee works on any shift that provides an equal number of hours to vote as set out above, on the employee's own time.
Time Off for. To facilitate their under the Program the Company agrees to grant time off from their regular work three employees who shall be selected by the Union to act on its Committee. Employees SO selected shall suffer no loss of earnings or seniority during such time. The Company will release the President of the Union or designate from job daily so as to allow four hours per day, plus an additional eight hours per week, in the Union provided by the Company, to conduct Union business. This time shall be at the end of the President’s or designate’s regularly scheduled shift during week days.

Time Off for. Any representative of the Union on the Labour-Management Relations Committee, who is in the employ of the Employer, shall have the privilege of attending Management Relations Committee meetings held within working hours without loss of remuneration. Where permission has been granted to employees who are representatives of the Union to leave their employment to carry on collective bargaining with the Employer with respect to the renewal of this Agreement, they shall suffer no loss of pay while acting in such capacity.
Time Off for. A member of the Bargaining Committee, as described in Article shall suffer no loss of pay while attending negotiating meetings with the Employer. In no event shall such attendance result in pay of any sort.

The privilege applies only when the committee is engaged committee work with representatives of the Employer. In the event that a member of the bargaining is on the night shift, such employee shall have off with pay the shift immediately preceding the bargaining meeting. In event bargaining lasts beyond such employee shall have that night off with pay.
