Time Off Between Shifts Sample Clauses

The "Time Off Between Shifts" clause establishes a minimum required rest period that employees must have between the end of one work shift and the start of the next. Typically, this clause specifies a set number of hours—such as eight or twelve—during which an employee cannot be scheduled to work, ensuring adequate recovery time. By mandating a break between shifts, the clause helps prevent employee fatigue, promotes health and safety, and ensures compliance with labor regulations regarding rest periods.
