Time Credited. In determining vacation entitlements, all road tours paid for, including but not limited to paid holidays, and paid vacation days, paid sick days, paid funeral days, and paid jury duty days shall be counted as days worked. An employee receiving benefits under Xxxxxxx’x Compensation will be credited for lost days if he otherwise would have had work opportunity with his Employer for the vacation qualifying period in which the injury occurred. In no case, however, shall an employee be entitled to vacation unless he actually works at least thirty (30) road tours in the qualifying period. Once he has worked thirty (30) days then paid sick, paid vacation, paid holiday, paid funeral leave and paid jury duty days are used for eligibility. If during any week an employee is unable to work a full week because of Federal or State regulations, he shall be credited with a full week’s work. For vacation eligibility purposes paid vacation days shall be considered as days worked according to the following schedule. Employees who have celebrated their third (3rd) anniversary by September 30th – up to and including five (5) days. Employees who have celebrated their tenth (10th) anniversary by September 30th – up to and including ten (10) days. Employees who have celebrated their fifteenth (15th) anniversary by September 30th – up to and including twenty (20) days. Employees who have celebrated their twentieth (20th) anniversary by September 30 – up to and including twenty-five (25) days. Employees who have celebrated their thirtieth (30th) anniversary by September 30th – up to and including thirty (30) days. Seniority retained in the event of a transfer, merger, acquisition, purchase or sale, pursuant to Article 1, Section 3, or Article 5 shall be computed in determining years of seniority for the purpose of Section 3 below.

Time Credited. The probationary period shall start from the date of probationary appointment. Probationary unit members in regular part-time positions shall be credited with that portion of full-time employment in which they work in a probationary status. Time worked by a unit member in a temporary, extra help, or provisional status shall not count towards completion of the probationary period; provided, however, that time served in a temporary or provisional appointment may be credited to the probationary period upon recommendation of the Department Director and approval of the City Manager.

  • Vacation Leave Credits ‌ Full-time and part-time employees will be credited with vacation leave accrued monthly, according to the rate schedule and vacation leave accrual below.

  • Service Credits Employees on pregnancy leave shall be entitled to normal accumulation of service credits for the duration of the pregnancy leave.

  • Service Credit Time spent on authorized leaves of absence without pay will count towards seniority, including service credit for annual step increases, layoff purposes, and for computing the amount of vacation leave, provided the employee is properly returned to service and is not serving a probationary period.   • Accumulation of Vacation Leave Credits 31.1.1 An employee shall earn in respect of each fiscal year, annual vacation leave with pay at the following rates for each calendar month in which the employee receives at least seventy-five (75) hours’ pay:

  • Sick Leave Credits Regular employees who have completed their probationary period will accrue sick leave credits at the rate of one day per month to a maximum of 156 days. Upon completion of their probationary period, an employee will be credited with sick leave back to the employee's starting date. Upon request, an employee will be advised in writing of the balance of their sick leave credits.

  • Credited Service A year of “Credited Service” shall mean a calendar year in which the Participant is paid for at least 1,000 hours of service (as defined in the frozen Hasbro Pension Plan) as an employee of the Company or of a Subsidiary of the Company. A Participant does not need to be, or have been, a participant in the Hasbro Pension Plan.

  • Free Credit Balances Your selection of a sweep program above will not be effected until your Account paperwork has been accepted by LPL as being in good order. Until such time, available cash balances (from securities transactions, dividend and interest payments, deposits and other activities) will not be automatically swept and will be held as a free credit balance. A free credit balance is a liability of LPL and payable to the Account on demand. Interest will not be paid to the Account on free credit balances. Unless we hear from you to the contrary, it is our understanding that any free credit balances held in your Account are pending investment. Free credit balances may be used by LPL in the ordinary course of its business subject to the requirements of Rule 15c3-3 under the Securities Exchange Act of 1934. The use of customer free credit balances generally generates revenue for LPL in the forms of interest and income, which LPL retains as additional compensation for its services to its clients. Under these arrangements, LPL will generally earn interest or a return based on short-term market interest rated prevailing at the time. If you are acting on behalf of a Plan, the Responsible Plan Fiduciary agrees that it has independently determined that holding cash balances, pending LPL’s acceptance of the Account, as a free credit balance, which does not earn income for the Plan, is both (i) reasonable and in the best interests of the Plan and (ii) that the Plan receives no less, nor pays no more, than adequate consideration with respect to this arrangement. If the Responsible Plan Fiduciary chooses to avoid holding un-invested cash as a free credit balances, the Plan should not fund the Account until after the Account paperwork has been accepted by LPL as being in good order.

  • Military Service Credit Permanent HMC employees who are veterans or their unmarried widows/widowers shall have added to their unbroken service the veteran’s active military service to a maximum of five (5) years in accordance with applicable state and federal law.

  • Borrowing of Unearned Vacation Credits With the approval of the Employer, an Employee who has been employed for a period of five (5) or more years may be granted five (5) days from the vacation leave of the next subsequent year.

  • Sick Leave Credit ‌ All employees will be able to draw on a block of nine days' sick leave when they commence employment. If all or part of this block of sick leave is used it will be paid back as sick leave is accumulated. If an employee ceases employment and has a negative balance in sick leave credits, this amount will be deducted from his/her final paycheque.
