TIME AND TEMPORARY EMPLOYEES. 15.01 A part-time employee is one who is hired to work regularly eighty (80) per cent or less of the work week provided in Article 10 of this Agreement.
TIME AND TEMPORARY EMPLOYEES. The collective agreement applies to regular part-time, part-time or temporary employees unless the clause is amended by or coverage is excluded by this Appendix. The following articles do not apply to temporary employees: Article 7.05, 7.06, 7.13, 7.14, 11.03, 11.04, 14.01, 14.12 and 21.
TIME AND TEMPORARY EMPLOYEES. A. Regular Part Time Employees
TIME AND TEMPORARY EMPLOYEES. For the purpose of this Agreement, a part-time employee shall mean one who works regularly less than twenty-six (26) hours a week. A part-time employee be paid on hourly basis at least equivalent to the hourly rate for the minimum salary provided for the employee's classification and experience. Articles (except and of this Agreement shall not apply to part-time employees. However, a part-time employee who regularly works in excess oftwenty hours per week and has sewed a three (3) month waiting period shall be entitled to health insurance under Article (except coverage), and life insurance under Article
TIME AND TEMPORARY EMPLOYEES. No persons, those covered by collective agreement shall be allowed to perform work normally done by bargaining unit employees. except for the purpose of Instructing or training employees. No work be contracted out, and no temporary, part-time or student help will be retained in employment which would result in the lay-off of employees or would result in full-time employees working fewer than their normal hours of work per day or per week, or while full-time employees are off, or be laid off as a result thereof; provided that such full-time employees make themselves available for any such work. The Employer shall not hire temporary employees, part employees or students to replace full-time employees, to prevent the hiring full- time employees or prevent the recall of full-time employees on lay-off. However, none of the above provisions shall prevent the Employer from employing such temporary, part-time or student help as required to fill vacancies due to vacation or leave of absence. The terms and conditions of employment covering students, part-time and temporary employees shall be set out In Schedule of this agreement. Whenever there a conflict between full-time and part-time provisions of agreement, part-time employees shall be governed by the provisions Contained in Schedule In all matters dealing with seniority rights contained in this Collective Agreement, full-time bargaining unit seniority shall supercede part-time bargaining unit seniority rights.
TIME AND TEMPORARY EMPLOYEES. (a) No temporary or part-time shall be hired to replace full-time employees prevent the hiring of employees to fill a full-time position. Full-time employees preference over part-time employees for selection of job. The Employer reserves the right to have a qualified work force at all in the opera- tion of this clause. Part-time employees will less than twenty-four (24) hours per week unless relieving for sickness, or vacation. ARTICLE
TIME AND TEMPORARY EMPLOYEES. Suppl y Secretaries Supply secretaries shall be entitled to or subject to the following: Union dues, payable under the monthly and forwarded clause With respect as specified by the Local Union clause shall be deducted from pay cheque of each supply secretary to the Union in accordance with to the Dental Insurance Plan, the Group Insurance Plan and the Extended Health Care plan provided for in Article the Board shall pay each supply secretary monthly on a pro rata basis an amount equal to the premiums for such plans which the Board is required to pay under Article Any supply secretary who has permanent status and who is assigned to a particular school or other place of work for at least two (2) continuous months shall be eligible for two days of paid sick leave on the basis referred to in Article but may not accumulate any unused sick leave beyond the period of such assignment. A supply secretary who has completed at least one hundred (100) work days with the Board shall be entitled to be advanced to the next step on the salary grid set out in clause and for every one hundred (100) work days completed thereafter shall be entitled to a further advancement of one
TIME AND TEMPORARY EMPLOYEES. Customers of the Employer shall not be permitted to come into the Warehouse and assemble orders. No outside drivers shall be allowed to do any work in the Warehouse or on a dock except in an area reasonably required for the sorting of pallets, as designated by the Employer and the Local Union at each Warehouse. No persons excepting those covered by this collective agreement shall be allowed to perform work normally done by bargaining unit employees, except for the purpose of instructing or training employees. Notwithstanding the above, the Cash Carry Manager (which shall not exceed one such person in each Cash Carry) may perform bargaining unit work during regular business hours of operation. No work will be contracted out, and no temporary, part-time or student help will be retained in employment which would result in the lay-off of full-time employees or would result in full time employees working fewer than their normal hours of work per day or per week, or while full-time employees are laid off, or would be laid off as a result thereof; provided that such full-time employees make themselves available for any such work.
