Common use of Time and one Clause in Contracts

Time and one. half (1.5) an employee's basic hourly rate, or time-off in lieu at one and one-half (1.5) shall be paid for all authorized hours worked in excess of seven and one quarter (7.25) hours in any one (1) day. The employee will make every effort to submit overtime sheets no later than four (4) weeks after having worked the overtime unless an extension is granted by the manager.
