Common use of Time and one Clause in Contracts

Time and one. half (1-1/2) will be paid for all time worked in excess of eight (8) hours in a twenty-four (24) hour period which begins with the start of the employee's regular or normally scheduled shift, all time worked in excess of forty (40) hours in one work week for which overtime has not already been earned.
