TIME AND LEAVE. Section 1. This section on Time and Leave shall not circumscribe the authority of the University, College, or Center to issue new interpretations subsequent to the effective date of this Agreement and not inconsistent with this Agreement. Such new interpretations shall be subject to the grievance and arbitration provisions of this Agreement.

TIME AND LEAVE. Section 1. This Article contains interpretations relating to time and leave issued by the Commissioner of the Department of Citywide Administrative Services (“DCAS”)1 prior to July 1, 1979, and codified by the University which have been issued by the Office of the Vice Chancellor for Human Resources Management. This Section shall not circumscribe the authority of the University to issue new interpretations subsequent to the effective date of this Agreement and not inconsistent with this Agreement. TIME AND LEAVE. 7.1 WORK WEEK, WORK SCHEDULES, OVERTIME PAY AND COMPENSATORY TIME Work Week The regular work week for full-time employees consists of five seven-hour days, plus one hour of unpaid lunch each day, for a total of 35 working hours, calculated from 12:00 AM Monday through midnight the following Sunday. The specific work schedules for full-time, part-time A and part-time B employees are determined by the employee's Principal Investigator or Project Director. The Principal Investigator or Project Director may excuse lateness, absence or early departure due to weather, transportation or other public emergencies. Employees who report to work and work despite such conditions shall be paid for the time they worked and may be granted compensatory time off equal to the time worked at the discretion of their Principal Investigator or Project Director.
TIME AND LEAVE. A. All disputes concerning time and leave of employees and positions in the bargaining unit shall be resolved by applying the relevant provisions of RD Instruction 2066-A, “Rural Development Leave Program”, and applicable government-wide regulations and statutes such as the FMLA and Title 5 U.S.C. § 6307 and 5 CFR Part 630.

TIME AND LEAVE a. The leave regulations of the Authority and any amendments thereto hereafter made shall apply to all employees covered under this Agreement, except as otherwise provided for herein. The leave accrual table is attached in Appendix B of the contract.

During maternal/paternal/adoption leave, intermittent returns to work for full or partial days does not extend the 225 consecutive-day span for leave.
