Tie Responses. A tie-response is defined as an instance where responses are received from two or more Responding Offerors who are the low Responding Offerors, and their offers are identical. This does not often occur because the responses must be identical in all evaluation areas; e.g., price, quality, delivery, terms, and ability to supply. If any of these areas are not identical, it is not considered a tie-response, and Owner can justify awarding to the Responding Offeror with the lowest responsive and responsible response. The procedure for tie-responses is to hold a public drawing and award the entire solicitation to the winner of the draw. When a drawing is necessary, the appropriate Purchasing Analyst will contact the Responding Offerors involved and describe the reason for the drawing. The Purchasing Analyst will indicate the time and place of the drawing and invite the Responding Offerors to attend but specify that attendance is not mandatory for the drawing. The Purchasing Analyst will ensure that an impartial witness will be present at the drawing.
Tie Responses. When multiple solicitation responses are equal in all respects, FIU will give preference to solicitation responses in the following order: solicitation responses from Vendors that include commodities manufactured in Florida, then from Vendors that are Florida businesses, then Vendors who have a drug-free workplace program, and then Vendors who are foreign manufacturers located in Florida, in determining the contract award, or if those conditions do not exist or are equivalent between two or more solicitation responses, the contract award will be determined by the toss of a coin.

If a site visit is deemed necessary due to an issue (i.e. access point failures or accidental cut wires) and not an Axon or Axon Evidence issue there may be a charge assessed to the agency. * 47 Will you cover warranty service for items made by other manufacturers that are part of your proposal, or are these warranties issues typically passed on to the original equipment manufacturer? Axon will troubleshoot these devices to the best of our ability. If we are unable to resolve the issue and the devices require warranty service, this will be performed by the manufacturer. * 48 What are your proposed exchange and return programs and policies? Axon does not allow exchanges or returns. Please see our MSPA for full details. * 49 Describe any service contract options for the items included in your proposal. Include enough detail to support your ability to report quarterly sales to Sourcewell as described in the Contract template. For example, indicate whether your dealer network is included in your response and whether each dealer (or some other entity) will process the Sourcewell Members' purchase orders. Axon will process orders Axon will accept from Sourcewell members directly, as our distributor network in the United States and Canada does not sell our video products. Our Order Entry team enters orders into our CRM, Salesforce. Reports will be maintained and extracted from Salesforce for quarterly reporting to Sourcewell. *

  • Department Responsibilities The use of sick leave may properly be denied if these procedures are not followed. Abuse of sick leave on the part of the employee is cause for disciplinary action. Departmental approval of sick leave is a certification of the legitimacy of the sick leave claim. The department head or designee may make reasonable inquiries about employee absences. The department may require medical verification for an absence of three (3) or more working days. The department may also require medical verification for absences of less than three (3) working days for probable cause if the employee had been notified in advance in writing that such verification was necessary.
