TIE BIDS. In the event two Bids are found to be substantially equivalent, price shall be the basis for determining the award recipient. While prompt payment discounts will not be considered in determining the low Bid, the Commissioner may consider any prompt payment discount in resolving Bids which are otherwise tied. If two or more Bidders submit substantially equivalent Bids as to pricing or other factors, the decision of the Commissioner to award a Contract to one or more of such Bidders shall be final.
TIE BIDS. In the event that the Department’s evaluation results in identical evaluations of replies for the lowest Group price or three bidders with the lowest Group price, the Department shall select Bidder(s) based on the criteria identified in Rule 60A-1.011, Florida Administrative Code.
TIE BIDS. In case of tie bids and both businesses have qualifying drug-free work programs, the award will be made using the following criteria: • Bidder within the State of Florida • Dealers performance record with purchasers • Coin toss

TIE BIDS. Whenever two or more Bids which are equal with respect to price, quality and service are received by the City for the procurement of commodities or contractual services, a Bid received from a business that certifies that is has implemented a drug-free workplace program shall be given preference in the award process. Established procedures for processing tie Bids will be followed if none of the tied vendors have a drug-free workplace program. In order to have a drug-free workplace program, a business shall:
TIE BIDS. In the event two offers for a Lot are found to be substantially equivalent, the lowest Base Item Unit Price shall be the basis for determining the award recipient for the Lot. If two or more Bidders submit substantially equivalent bids for a Lot as to pricing or other factors, the decision of the Commissioner to award a Contract to one or more of such Bidders shall be final.
TIE BIDS. If two or more of the bids received are for the same total amount in quality, service, and cost, the Executive Director may negotiate with the bidders and obtain the best bid possible.
TIE BIDS. If all bids are for the same total amount or unit price (including authorized discounts and delivery times), and if the public interest will not permit the delay of re-advertisement for bids, the Purchasing Agent is authorized to award the contract to the tie bidder that has its principal place of business in the County, or if there be none, to the resident Virginia tie bidder, or if there be none, to one of the tie bidders by drawing lots in public; or the Purchasing Agent may purchase the goods or services in the open market except that the price paid shall not exceed the lowest contract bid price submitted for the same goods or services. The decision of the County to make award to one or more such bidders shall be final.
TIE BIDS. In the instance where one or more vendors are judged to submit identical quotations for the same item, it shall be the administrative responsibility of the Director of Technology to select that vendor. The contract will be awarded based upon consideration in the following area’s in the following order; price, technical merit of proposed solution, installation timeline and requirements, support agreements; including response time and references.
