THEMATIC AREAS. The Parties are launching a call for proposals relevant for industry within upstream, offshore petroleum and environment-friendly energy. The thematic areas relevant for the call within environment-friendly energy are: • Wind power Research to ensure environmentally friendly and cost-effective development of wind power, both land-based and offshore wind, including floating and bottom-fixed, with a focus on: o Sustainable and cost-effective wind turbines, foundation solutions, installation methods and connection solutions o Operation, maintenance, decommissioning and recycling o The impact of wind power on the environment and society, including the processes for awarding and licensing new fields • Solar energy Research and development of solar energy technology, from material and process technology, digitalization of production processes, life cycle analyzes and operations, to solar power, solar heating, building-integrated solar, solar energy solutions in existing infrastructure and solar parks on different scales, including sustainability aspects. • Hydrogen and hydrogen-based energy carriers Safe, sustainable and cost-effective development along the whole value chain and in areas where hydrogen has an opportunity to become a competitive solution in the future. This includes: o Production of hydrogen, both blue and green, and hydrogen-based energy carriers o Storage, transport and distribution of hydrogen o Use of pure hydrogen in industrial processes o Long range transport; especially in maritime industry o Other aspects related to hydrogen as an energy carrier such as safety, sustainability, business models and regulations The thematic areas relevant for the call within petroleum are: • Reducing greenhouse gases, improving energy efficiency and the environment Research on and development of technology and expertise which will lead to reduced greenhouse gas emissions, improved energy efficiency, reduced emissions to sea and a smaller environmental footprint • Subsurface understanding, including use of CO2 for enhanced oil recovery (EOR) Knowledge, expertise and technology related to the development of exploration models, as well as production in the reservoir in order to achieve a higher degree of utilisation • Drilling, completion and intervention Knowledge, expertise and technology related to offshore drilling, well intervention and completion for recovery of petroleum resources, including plugging and abandonment of xxxxx (P&A) • Production, processin...

  • Built-up Area The built-up area for the Designated Apartment or any other Unit shall mean the Carpet Area of such Unit and Balcony area and 50% (fifty percent) of the area covered by those external walls which are common between such Unit/Balcony and any other Unit/Balcony and the area covered by all other external walls of the such Unit/Balcony.

  • Use of Service Areas The service areas, as located within the Project, shall be ear- marked for purposes such as parking spaces and services including but not limited to electric sub-station, transformer, DG set rooms, underground water tanks, Pump rooms, maintenance and service rooms, firefighting pumps and equipment etc. and other permitted uses as per sanctioned plans. The Allottee shall not be permitted to use the services areas in any manner whatsoever, other than those earmarked as parking spaces and the same shall be reserved for use by the Association for rendering maintenance services.

  • Study Area The study area focused on the Bulk Power System in South-Eastern New York between Albany and New York City, and voltages underlying systems at 115 kV and above in the lower Xxxxxx Valley (Zones G, H & I). In the PSS™E power flow base case provided by NYISO, facilities rated at 115 kV and above in PSS™E designated areas 6 through 11 are monitored in the study. These areas are: • Capital District • Xxxxxx • Millwood • Xxxxxxxxx • Con Ed • Long Island

  • Geological and Archeological Specimens If, during the execution of the Work, the Contractor, any Subcontractor, or any servant, employee, or agent of either should uncover any valuable material or materials, such as, but not limited to, treasure trove, geological specimens, archival material, archeological specimens, or ore, the Contractor acknowledges that title to the foregoing is vested in the Owner. The Contractor shall notify the Owner upon the discovery of any of the foregoing, shall take reasonable steps to safeguard it, and seek further instruction from the Design Professional. Any additional cost incurred by the Contractor shall be addressed under the provision for changed conditions. The Contractor agrees that the Geological and Water Resources Division and the Historic Preservation Division of the Georgia Department of Natural Resources may inspect the Work at reasonable times.

  • Restricted Areas All persons except DOC personnel, upon entering the grounds are restricted to the immediate area of their work assignment. In order to go to other areas, Contractor personnel must first obtain written permission from the supervisory correctional official in charge. Only persons having official business will be admitted to construction sites.

  • NOXIOUS WEEDS DISCLOSURE Buyers of property in the State of Montana should be aware that some properties contain noxious weeds. The laws of the State of Montana require owners of property within this state to control, and to the extent possible, eradicate noxious weeds. For information concerning noxious weeds and your obligations as an owner of property, contact either your local County extension agent or Weed Control Board.

  • Contractor Sensitive Information 17.1 The Authority must:

  • Outside Work All work necessary to the assembling, installation, erection, operation, maintenance, repair, control, in- spection and supervision of all electrical apparatus, devices, wires, cables, supports, insulators, conduc- tors, ducts and raceways when part of distributing systems outside of buildings, railroads and outside the directly related railroad property and yards. In- stalling and maintaining the catenary and trolley work on railroad property, and bonding of rails. All underground ducts and cables when they are in- stalled by and are part of the system of a distrib- uting company, except in power stations during new construction, including ducts and cables to adjacent switch racks or substations. All outdoor substations and electrical connections up to and including the setting of transformers and the connecting of the secondary buses thereto. Outside work to include renewable electrical energy sources such as solar photovoltaic, geothermal, wind, biomass, wave, etc., and other distributed en- ergy installations such as fuel cells, microturbines, etc.

  • Road Surfaces (1) Grade, shape, crown, and/or outslope surface and shoulders.

  • Common Areas Tenant shall have the non-exclusive right to use in common with other tenants in the Project, and subject to the Rules and Regulations referred to in Article 5 of this Lease, those portions of the Project which are provided, from time to time, for use in common by Landlord, Tenant and any other tenants of the Project (such areas, together with such other portions of the Project designated by Landlord, in its discretion, including certain areas designated for the exclusive use of certain tenants, or to be shared by Landlord and certain tenants, are collectively referred to herein as the “Common Areas”). The Common Areas shall consist of the “Project Common Areas” and the “Building Common Areas.” The term “Project Common Areas,” as used in this Lease, shall mean the portion of the Project designated as such by Landlord or areas within the Project that the occupants of the Building are permitted to utilize pursuant to a recorded declaration and which areas shall be maintained in accordance with the declaration. The term “Building Common Areas,” as used in this Lease, shall mean the portions of the Common Areas located within the Building reasonably designated as such by Landlord. The manner in which the Common Areas are maintained and operated shall be at the reasonable discretion of Landlord and the use thereof shall be subject to the Rules and Regulations as Landlord may make from time to time. Landlord reserves the right to close temporarily, make alterations or additions to, or change the location of elements of the Project and the Common Areas, provided that, in connection therewith, Landlord shall perform such closures, alterations, additions or changes in a commercially reasonable manner and, in connection therewith, shall use commercially reasonable efforts to minimize any material interference with Tenant’s use of and access to the Premises.
