Common use of THE RESIDENTIAL GRIEVANCE BOARD Clause in Contracts

THE RESIDENTIAL GRIEVANCE BOARD. There is hereby established a Board, which shall be called Low-Rise Residential Grievance Board. The Board shall consist of two (2) Low-Rise Residential electricians from the IBEW, LU 353 and two (2) Low-Rise Residential electrical contractors from the Greater Toronto Electrical Contractors Association together with one (1) Local Union 353 staff representative and one (1) Xxxxxxx Xxxxxxx Electrical Contractors Association staff representative. Each side may also designate an alternative representative. Where a matter before the Board would involve a conflict of interest, a representative to the Board may be replaced by the alternative representative. The IBEW, Local 353 and the Greater Toronto Electrical Contractors Association staff representatives shall each act as secretary to the Board for their respective side. An application for a grievance to be heard at the Low Rise Residential Grievance Board must be made within fourteen (14) days from the date of the grievance. The Low-Rise Residential Grievance Board will hear the grievance within twenty (20) days from the date of application. The Low-Rise Residential Grievance Board will meet annually to establish a set number of pre-apprentices to be brought into the Joint Apprenticeship Council through a designated Low-Rise intake process.
