Nurse Practitioner (Employer Appointed Position) “Nurse Practitioner” means a Registered Nurse appointed as such to a position approved by the employer and who is authorised by the Board under Section 95 of Health Practitioner Regulation National Law (NSW) No 86A. A Nurse Practitioner will have at least three years full-time equivalent experience in an advanced practice role and meets the national competency standards for Nurse Practitioners. A Nurse Practitioner functions autonomously and operates at a level of nursing that uses extended and expanded skills, experience and knowledge assessment, planning, implementation, diagnosis and evaluation of nursing care. STANDARD OF PRACTICE CONTRACTOR warrants that it has the degree of learning and skill ordinarily possessed by reputable professionals practicing in similar localities in the same profession and under similar circumstances. CONTRACTOR’s duty is to exercise such care, skill and diligence as professionals engaged in the same profession ordinarily exercise under like circumstances.

Chapter 5, Subchapter 6, relating to fair employment practices, to the full extent applicable.
