THE COUNCIL AGENDA. 11.01 Prior to a Council meeting, the Corporation agrees to provide the President and Secretary of the Union and the Unit Vice-Presidents with a copy of the Council Agenda. Copies of the Council proceedings shall be supplied to these Union officials following the Council meeting.
THE COUNCIL AGENDA. 11.01 The Corporation will ensure that copies of agendas of Council or its Committees are available in order that union representatives may apprise themselves of their contents. Copies of the Council proceedings shall also be available for the same purpose.

  • ADVISORY COUNCIL An Advisory Council consisting of the superintendent of each participating District, or his/her designee is hereby created. The purpose of such Advisory Council is to monitor the performance of this Agreement, amend this Agreement (with concurrence of all parties affected), and terminate this Agreement as provided in Section IX. Activities of the Advisory Council shall take place as needed, called by a majority of its members or by the Superintendent of the NWESD, or his/her designee. Decisions by the Advisory Council will be made by a vote of greater than fifty percent (50%) of a quorum. A quorum is defined as at least fifty percent (50%) of the representatives appointed to the Advisory Council. Participation may occur via technological participation, including email providing at least seven (7) calendar days prior written notice was provided to each District superintendent or designee.

  • City Council “City Council” means the governing body of the City.

  • City Council Approval It is agreed that this MOU is of no force or affect until ratified by the City Council of the City of Lompoc.

  • Negotiations Committee H.3 At all negotiations meetings with the Employer representatives for a renewal of this Agreement, the Union may be represented by a negotiations committee composed of five (5) bargaining unit members. No deduction from the regular pay of such Employees will be made for attendance at such meetings with the Employer’s representatives held during the Employee's regular working hours. The Union has the right to have up to an additional five (5) members, including Union Officers, on the Negotiating Committee at no cost to the Employer.

  • Local      Committee The Hospital agrees to recognize a negotiating committee comprised of hospital employee representatives of the Union for the purpose of negotiating a renewal agreement (as set out in the Local Provisions Appendix). The Hospital agrees to pay members of the negotiating committee for straight time wages lost from their regularly scheduled working hours spent in direct negotiations for a renewal agreement, up to but not including arbitration. Nothing in this provision is intended to preclude the Union negotiating committee from having the assistance of any representatives of the Canadian Union of Public Employees when negotiating with the Hospital.

  • Technical Committee 1. The Technical Committee shall comprise:

  • SCHOOL STAFF COMMITTEES 1. If the majority of the teaching staff in the school so decide, there shall be established a recognized staff committee in that school.

  • Agenda The co-chairs will meet seven (7) days prior to each meeting to exchange agendas for that meeting. The items in the agendas will be listed in order of priority. The Company will arrange to have both agendas typed and distributed to Committee members prior to the meeting. Items from the agendas will be discussed at the meeting on an alternating basis with the first item being taken from either the Company's or the Union's agenda, depending on which party is chairing the meeting. Items not addressed at a meeting may be re-proposed for the next meeting's agendas. Emergency items arising after the agendas are prepared can be entertained on the agreement of the parties at the outset of the meeting. An item on the agendas may be disposed of by referral to a more appropriate forum or cancelled, by mutual agreement of the parties. The Union Representative who will be responsible for proposing the next list of Union agenda items will be identified at the conclusion of each meeting.

  • Agendas The parties will exchange agenda items 1 week prior to each meeting and the Chair will issue an agenda 1 week prior to each meeting. Background materials which may accompany an agenda item will be made available 1 week prior to the meeting to which they pertain. With time permitting, and the consent of those in attendance, additional items may be added to an agenda. Items shall be presented by the parties in alternating sequence, beginning with the Local.

  • Board Agenda ‌ The Association may request to be placed on the agenda of a regular Board meeting in accordance with the Board's Policy Manual and procedures contained therein.
