THE CONTRACTING AUTHORITIES. 1.5.1 The Contracting Authorities partaking in the DPS Agreement include: • Ministers of the Government of Ireland; Central Government Departments; offices and non- commercial agencies and organisations which have a formal reporting and legal relationship to Central Government Departments, including all Local Authorities in Ireland (as defined in the Local Government Act 2014), (themselves including regional assemblies, local enterprise boards and library bodies), and those approved housing bodies which also constitute “bodies governed by public law” within the meaning of Regulation 2 of the Regulations listed on the Register of Approved Housing Bodies maintained by the Department of Housing, Local Government and Heritage currently approved under section 6 of the Housing Xxx 0000; • Contracting Authorities in the Irish health sector including but not limited to the Health Service Executive (HSE); the Health Information and Quality Authority (HIQA) and HSE funded Agencies delivering health & personal social services funded by more than 50% from Exchequer funds; • Contracting Authorities which are Third Level Educational Institutions (including universities, institutes of technology and members of the Education Procurement Service); • Contracting Authorities which are Education and Training Boards (ETBs) and ETB schools, and primary, post-primary, special and secondary schools as well as ETBs acting on behalf of schools; • A Garda Síochána (Police); • The Irish Prison Service; • The Irish Defence Forces; • The Housing Agency; • Such other Contracting Authorities as may be notified to the Economic Operator from time to time.

  • The Contracting Authority shall designate a Project Manager for the Project. The Project Manager is authorized to act on behalf of the Contracting Authority to perform specific responsibilities under the Agreement.

  • Contracting authority The contracting authority of this public contract is Enabel, the Belgian development agency, public-law company with social purposes, with its registered office at Xxx Xxxxx 000, 0000 Xxxxxxxx xx Xxxxxxx (enterprise number 0264.814.354, RPM/RPR Brussels). Enabel has the exclusive competence for the execution, in Belgium and abroad, of public service tasks of direct bilateral cooperation with partner countries. Moreover, it may also perform other development cooperation tasks at the request of public interest organisations, and it can develop its own activities to contribute towards realisation of its objectives. For this procurement contract, Xxxxxx is represented by person(s) who shall sign the award letter and are mandated to represent the organisation towards third parties.

  • Competent Authorities The Parties shall inform each other about the structure, organisation and division of competences of their competent authorities during the first meeting of the Sanitary and Phytosanitary Sub-Committee referred to in Article 65 of this Agreement ("SPS Sub-Committee"). The Parties shall inform each other of any change of the structure, organisation and division of competences, including of the contact points, concerning such competent authorities.

  • Contracting Authors When the Author is more than one person then, unless otherwise indicated in this Agreement or agreed in writing by the Publisher: (a) the expression “Author” as used in this Agreement will apply collectively for all such persons (each a "co-author"); (b) the Corresponding Author hereby warrants and represents that all co-authors of the contribution have expressly agreed that the Corresponding Author has full right, power and authority to sign this Agreement on their behalf, that the Corresponding Author is entitled to act on their behalf, and that they shall be bound by the Corresponding Author, with respect to all matters, responsibilities, notices and communications related to this Agreement; the Corresponding Author shall obtain authorisations and make them available to the Publisher on request; and (c) each co-author is jointly and severally responsible for the Author’s obligations under this Agreement which apply to each co-author individually and to the co-authors collectively and the Publisher shall not be bound by any separate agreement or legal relationship as between the co-authors. The Contribution may contain links (e.g. frames or in-line links) to media enhancements (e.g. additional documents, tables, diagrams, charts, graphics, illustrations, animations, pictures, videos and/or software) or to social or functional enhancements, complementing the Contribution, which are provided on the Author’s own website or on a third party website or repository (e.g. maintained by an institution) subject always to the Author providing to the Editor, at the latest at the delivery date of the manuscript for the Contribution, an accurate description of each media enhancement and its respective website or repository, including its/their owner, nature and the URL. The Publisher is entitled to reject the inclusion of, or suspend, or delete links to all or any individual media enhancements. In the event that an index is deemed necessary, the Author shall assist the Editor in its preparation (e.g. by suggesting index terms), if requested by the Editor.

  • The Contracting Parties undertake to promote the exchange of visits by persons, groups and delegations from business, trade and industry, to facilitate contacts in the industrial, commercial and technical fields connected with trade and cooperation in textile industry and textile products and garments, and to assist in the organization of fairs and exhibitions of mutual interest.

  • Cooperation with supervisory authorities 1. The data exporter agrees to deposit a copy of this contract with the supervisory authority if it so requests or if such deposit is required under the applicable data protection law.

  • Legal Authorities The CMPPA establishes procedural requirements for agencies to follow when engaging in computer-matching activities.

  • Subcontracting Plan ‌ The Contractor shall comply with the Contractor’s Subcontracting Plan and Subcontracting Plan Addendums, incorporated into the OASIS contract by reference, to ensure that small business, small disadvantage business (SDB), women-owned business (WOSB), HUBZone small business (HUBZone), veteran-owned small business (VOSB), and service-disabled veteran-owned small business (SDVOSB), are provided the maximum practicable opportunity to participate as Subcontractors. As stated in 15 U.S.C. 637(d)(8), any Contractor or Subcontractor failing to comply in good faith with the requirements of the subcontracting plan is in material breach of its contract. Further, 15 U.S.C. 637(d)(4)(F) directs that a Contractor’s failure to make a good faith effort to comply with the requirements of the subcontracting plan shall result in the imposition of liquidated damages. The OASIS Program Office requires use of the electronic Subcontracting Reporting System (eSRS) modules as the secure, confidential, information management tool to evaluate subcontracting goal performance for OASIS. The Subcontracting Plan covers the OASIS program as whole, however, the Contractor shall submit Individual Subcontract Reports (ISR) for Individual Subcontracting Plans, if applicable, and Summary Subcontract Reports (SSR) per each individual Pool the Contractor has a contract award using the web-based eSRS at xxxx://xxx.xxxx.xxx. Affiliates of the Prime Contractor or Subcontractor are not included in these reports. Subcontract award data reported by Prime Contractors and Subcontractors shall be limited to awards made to their immediate next-tier Subcontractors. Contractors are required to adhere to their Subcontracting Plan, incorporated into the basic contract by reference. When a Contractor does not meet any one or more of their Subcontracting Goals for a given reporting period, the Contractor shall explain, in writing, the rationale for not meeting the goals in the comments section of the ISR/SSR.
