The Board of Trustees of the Long Beach Community. College District recognizes the LBCCFA as the sole and exclusive bargaining agent for faculty members occupying the bargaining unit described by the Public Employment Relations Board (PERB) at the time of the unit determination election held in May 1978. Specifically, the unit shall include full-time tenured and probationary faculty, including: instructors, counselors, librarians, department heads, instructional specialists, and full-time faculty on special assignments such as program specialists, faculty directors, and faculty coordinators.

  • Board of Trustees 2.1.1 The Board of Trustees will be comprised of 9 voting members that include 5 employee representatives and 4 employer representatives.   • Hospital-Association Committee (a) There shall be a Hospital-Association Committee comprised of representatives of the Hospital, one of whom shall be the Chief Nursing Officer or designate and of the Association, one of whom shall be the Bargaining Unit President or designate. The number of representatives is set out in the Appendix of Local Provisions and the membership of the Committee may be expanded by mutual agreement.

  • Professional Development Committee There shall be a Professional Development Committee composed of at least two (2) representatives of the Association and an equal number of representatives from the Hospital. Each party may have alternates to replace a member from time to time.
