Testing and Training. 3.15.1 There will be required testing for all Association salary levels. Each test will have a Part 1 and a Part 2. Part 1 may cover word processing, mathematical calculations, alphabetizing, proofreading, and written correspondence (content, fluency, spelling, grammar, and punctuation), etc. Part 2 is a technology test which, at various levels, may include email, folders, preferences, Word, mail merge, cut and paste, Excel, spreadsheets, charts, etc. Both speed of completion and accuracy will be elements of the testing process. Additional testing may be required that is relevant to the position requirements.

Testing and Training. NASA will thoroughly test the system and incorporate suggestions and requests from all stakeholders. Public meetings to introduce the system to interested stakeholders, in addition to on-site training for NMED in Santa Fe, NM, will ensure that the system is operating as designed and security systems are fully implemented. NASA will personally test the system for security requirements by attempting unauthorized access and modification of documents. This will ensure that the system is fully functional and secure. ANSI Transaction Set Guidelines - The incorporation of transaction set guidelines will require flexibility from the regulatory agency. The diverse report formats common with multi-media compliance reporting will be difficult to capture in a single, standardized, “fill-in-the-blank” format. NASA considers an e-mail notification and Internet-based reporting system the best choice as the primary mechanism for the submittal of various reports, correspondence, and miscellaneous information. NASA proposes that an initial trial of direct e-mail submittals of document links, coupled with secure digital signatures and certification requirements, will ensure that the system is viable. This pilot-scale project will incorporate DMR criteria where appropriate and relevant.
Testing and Training. The Team will agree to provide periodic testing of the application with the Client during the development of the application. This testing will include both system and user interface testing in order to guarantee that all necessary functional and user interface requirements are being met. The Client will provide to the Team test data from the current system and the Team will be responsible for the conversion of that data to to be workable with CLIP. After the completition of the project, the Team will provide to the Client full user and developer documentation that explains all the necessary and optional features along with how to use them. Furthermore, the dimensions necessary for creating data sets will also be provided. Lastly, the Team is required to perform an on-site evaluation and training of the system upon delivery of CLIP.

  • Orientation and Training A transferring employee will be orientated separately to both or their new home in accordance with Article 20 the collective agreement of the designated employer.

  • Education and Training The foundation of this Program is education and voluntary compliance. It is recognized that alcohol and chemical dependency may make voluntary cessation of use difficult, and one of the Program’s principal aims is to make voluntary steps toward ending substance abuse easily available. The outside contractor shall review and develop on-going educational and training information on the adverse consequences of substance abuse and the responsibility to avoid being under the influence of alcohol or chemicals at work. Certain training required by the DOT Regulations shall be the responsibility of the Substance Abuse Program.

  • First Aid Training In the interests of the occupational safety and health of employees, the Employer will undertake an in-service program of first aid training aimed at providing a first aid officer for each department.

  • Job Training The Employer and the Union shall establish a Joint Committee on Training and Skill Upgrading for the following purposes:

  • Training and Orientation (a) No employee shall be required to work on any job or operate any piece of equipment until he/she has received proper training and instruction.

  • Apprenticeship and Training It is agreed that all Employers covered by this Agreement shall contribute a sum as listed in Schedule "A" herein for each compensable man-hour of Carpenters, including supervisory employees when covered by this Agreement. Said contribution shall be made to xxx Xxxxxxxxxx- Employers Apprenticeship and Training Trust Fund of Washington-Idaho the manner as set forth in the Trust Agreement of said Trust. The details of such Apprenticeship and Training Plan established by this Trust Fund and this Trust Fund itself shall continue to be controlled and administered by a Joint Board of Trustees composed of equal representation of labor and management who are signators to the Trust Agreement of the aforesaid Trust Fund. Each Trustee appointed by the Union shall be a member of the Union and employed by the Union and each Management trustee shall be a salaried executive or officer of a signatory Employer, or an employee of an Employer association, on behalf of its member employers.

  • Employment and Training Administration The ratio of trainees to journeymen on the job site shall not be greater than permitted under the plan approved by the Employment and Training Administration. Every trainee must be paid at not less than the rate specified in the approved program for the trainee's level of progress, expressed as a percentage of the journeyman hourly rate specified in the applicable wage determination. Trainees shall be paid fringe benefits in accordance with the provisions of the trainee program. If the trainee program does not mention fringe benefits, trainees shall be paid the full amount of fringe benefits listed on the wage determination unless the Administrator of the Wage and Hour Division determines that there is an apprenticeship program associated with the corresponding journeyman wage rate on the wage determination which provides for less than full fringe benefits for apprentices. Any employee listed on the payroll at a trainee rate who is not registered and participating in a training plan approved by the Employment and Training Administration shall be paid not less than the applicable wage rate on the wage determination for the classification of work actually performed. In addition, any trainee performing work on the job site in excess of the ratio permitted under the registered program shall be paid not less than the applicable wage rate on the wage determination for the work actually performed. In the event the Employment and Training Administration withdraws approval of a training program, the contractor will no longer be permitted to utilize trainees at less than the applicable predetermined rate for the work performed until an acceptable program is approved.

  • Driver Training A. All drivers are to be provided with appropriate training and refresher courses each year in the following areas as a minimum: * Proper use of equipment including communications equipment; * Defensive driving; * Emergency and accident procedures; * Identifying unusual passenger behavior; * Student harassment and bullying; * Conducting evacuation drills; * Sensitivity training in working with disabled persons; * Human relation skills in working with parents, school staff, etc; * General vehicle maintenance and pre-trip inspections; and * Map reading and city street coordinates. The Department of Business and Transportation Services may review Contractors’ bus driver training program, upon request.

  • STUDENTS AND TRAINEES 1. Payments which a student, business apprentice or trainee who is or was immediately before visiting a Contracting State a resident of the other Contracting State and who is present in the first-mentioned State solely for the purpose of his education or training receives for the purpose of his maintenance, education or training shall not be taxed in that State, provided that such payments arise from sources outside that State.

  • Compliance Training ADMINISTRATOR shall make General Compliance Training and Provider Compliance Training, where appropriate, available to Covered Individuals.
