Termination for default provision. (a) The performance of work under the Agreement may be terminated in whole or in part, in writing (a "Notice of Termination") by the Authority, whenever the Contractor shall default in performance of the Agreement in accordance with its terms, including, but not limited to, a failure to perform the services within the time specified, or a failure to make progress as to endanger performance of the Agreement, and the Contractor has failed to cure such default within a period of five (5) days from the date of the notice of default or such longer period as the Contracting Officer authorizes in writing.
