Common use of Termination for Conflict of Interest Clause in Contracts

Termination for Conflict of Interest. MCC may terminate this Contract by written notice to Contractor if it is determined, after due notice and examination, that any party to this Contract has violated Chapter 42.52 RCW , Ethics in Public Service, or any other laws regarding ethics in public acquisitions and procurement and performance of contracts. In the event this Contract is so terminated, the MCC and /or Purchaser shall be entitled to pursue the same remedies against Contractor as it could pursue in the event that the Contractor breaches this Contract.
