TERM OF MASTER CONTRACT. The term of this Master Contract shall be from July 1, 2021 to June 30, 2022 (Title 5 California Code of Regulations section 3062(a)). Neither the CONTRACTOR nor the LEA is required to renew this Master Contract in subsequent contract years. This Master Contract supersedes any prior or contemporaneous written or oral understanding or agreement. This Master Contract may be amended only by written amendment executed by both parties. CONTRACTOR shall provide the LEA with information as requested in writing to secure a Master Contract or a renewal. At a minimum, such information shall include copies of teacher credentials and clearance, insurance documentation and CDE certification. The LEA may require additional information as applicable. If the application packet is not completed and returned to District, no Master Contract will be issued. If CONTRACTOR does not return the Master Contract to LEA duly signed by an authorized representative within ninety (90) calendar days of issuance by XXX, the new contract rates will not take effect until the newly executed Master Contract is received by XXX and will not be retroactive to the first day of the new Master Contract’s effective date. TERM OF MASTER CONTRACT. January 1, 2017 Contracted Pay Change This Master Contract, unless otherwise set forth specifically in the Master Contract, shall be effective as of January 1, 2015 and shall continue in full force and effect until December 31, 2020. From January 1, 2014 through December 31, 2016 there will be a zero percent (0%) across the board salary increase. Those who qualify for salary increments or salary lane changes will be compensated according to the current provisions of the Agreement. The parties hereby agree to reopen the Master Contract in November of each year of this Collective Bargaining Agreement to discuss money items for each succeeding calendar year. The parties reopened the Master Contract in December 2016 and hereby agree to increase pay rates in Chapter Two and Chapter Three by three percent effective January 1, 2017. The parties hereby agree to reopen negotiations for the 2021 calendar year on or before November 1, 2020. If no agreement on a new Master Contract is reached and ratified by the parties on or before December 31, 2020 then this entire Agreement shall remain in effect on a status quo basis through December 31 of the following year or until a new Agreement is reached and ratified by the parties subject to the terms of the new Master Contract, whichever occurs first.
