Ten Hour Shifts. The IESO may assign employees covered by this Article to 10 hour shifts, without a vote. The following conditions shall apply: Notice Management will use reasonable efforts in revising the regular schedule so as to provide the following minimum hours off between shifts:
Ten Hour Shifts. For those employees scheduled to work ten (10) hour days, all paid days off, i.e. vacations, personal days and holiday, shall be equal to eight (8) hours.
Ten Hour Shifts. Members assigned to a ten (10) hours per day, four (4) day work week who work in excess of forty (40) hours per work week or in excess of ten (10) hours per work day shall be paid overtime at the rate of one and one-half (1 ½) times the member’s regular hourly rate, with the exception of call-back compensation and court time as described in this Article.
Ten Hour Shifts a) Four (4) ten (10) hour days may be operated on any run that is justified. The employer shall wherever practical establish a weekly schedule of four (4) ten (10) hour shifts for in-plant personnel, compensation will be on the basis of ten (10) hours per day at straight time.

Ten Hour Shifts. Applicable to: CPEOs and Shift Maintenance Personnel. Shifts: The normal hours of work for non-time balanced ten hour shifts are 40 per pay week. Ten Hour Shifts. The parties continue to acknowledge that determining whether 10 hour shifts are feasible and appropriate for the operation remains management’s prerogative. Nothing in any of the proposals herein is to be taken as derogating in any way from that prerogative. The parties agree, for the term of the current collective agreement, to examine whether ten (10) hour shifts are feasible and appropriate for the operation of any department or classification. The parties acknowledge that the Authority is currently conducting an operational review on the feasibility of implementing ten (10) hour shifts in all departments and for all classifications, save and except for the Attendant classification, which currently have ten (10) hour shifts. The parties will meet upon completion of the operational review to consider the feasibility of ten (10) hour shifts in all departments. Ten Hour Shifts. The Parties agree that innovative alternative work schedules may be established by mutual agreement between the Hospital and the nurse involved, as agreed upon in paragraph 9.3, to include the other provisions in paragraph 9.3, and when the innovative alternative work schedule is a ten (10) hour shift, then the ten 10) hour shift becomes the basic workday. Per paragraph 9.4, any time worked in excess of the basic workday or work period, when properly authorized, shall be compensated for at the rate of one and one-half ( 1 1/2) times the nurse’s regular rate of pay. If a nurse works more than two (2) consecutive hours beyond the end of the ten (10) hour shift, all overtime hours after twelve (12) consecutive hours of work for that shift shall be paid at double time (2x), in accordance with paragraph 9.4.1.
