Common use of Temporary Vacancy Clause in Contracts

Temporary Vacancy. (a) In the event of a temporary vacancy, due to the absence of a regular driver, such temporary vacancy shall be filled by a substitute bus driver. Temporary vacancies are deemed to be temporary as long as the regular driver is off the job, but is due or scheduled to report back to their regular run.
