Temporary Reduction of Work Hours or Layoff – Agency Option. A. The Agency may temporarily reduce the work hours of an employee to no less than twenty (20) per week, up to thirty (30) calendar days, due to severe and inclement weather or natural disaster and unanticipated loss of funding, or lack of work. Employees will normally receive notice of seven (7) calendar days of a temporary reduction of work hours.
