Common use of Temporary Position Clause in Contracts

Temporary Position. (a) A temporary position arises when an Employee is absent or expected to be absent in excess of three (3) months or when the Employer creates a position for a limited time period of at least three (3) months. The temporary position shall be posted as per Article 31. The Employer will outline to the Employee awarded the temporary position the anticipated conditions and duration of the temporary position.
