Temporary Partial Disablement. Temporary Partial Disablement shall mean the partial and temporary inability of the Insured Person to work in gainful employment as described under Item 9 of the applicable Cover Level.
Temporary Partial Disablement. Temporary disablement which prevents the Insured Person from engaging in the majority of their normal Occupation with the Policyholder. The Benefit Period and the Deferment Period are as stated in the Schedule of Benefits.

Temporary Partial Disablement. Conditions 1. If item 1 is not covered, then no claim shall be payable, other than for weekly benefits, in respect of an accident which would have given rise to a claim for death had that item been covered. 2. If item 1 is covered and an accident causes death of the insured person within twelve months following the date of the accident and prior to the definite settlement of the benefit for disablement provided for under items 2 to 7 of Section One of the schedule of benefits, only the benefit provided for in the case of death of the insured person shall be paid. 3. Where any payment is made for temporary total disablement or temporary partial disablement the amount so paid shall be deducted from any lump sum subsequently payable for permanent total disablement or death. 4. If the insured person is not found within twelve months of their disappearance, and sufficient evidence is produced satisfactory to us that leads us inevitably to the conclusion that the insured person have sustained bodily injury and that such injury has caused the insured person’s death, we will pay the death benefit, where applicable, under this contract of insurance, provided that the person or persons to whom such sum is paid shall sign an undertaking to refund such sum to us if the insured person is subsequently found to be alive.
Temporary Partial Disablement. If whilst the Policy is in force, the Insured Person suffers an Injury which, within twelve (12) months of such injury, directly and independently of all other causes results in Temporary Partial Disablement, the Company will pay the Principal Sum stated in the Table of Compensation. The aggregate period is up to one hundred and four (104) weeks per disability.

  • Temporary Interruption of Employment When the Employer declares that a temporary interruption of employment should be considered because of lack of funds, either party may provide the other with written notice to meet and discuss possible terms of such interruption or alternative options. Such meeting must occur within thirty (30) days of the declaration. Terms and alternatives shall be subject to mutual agreement by the Union and the Employer.   • Total Disability (a) Total disability, as used in this Plan, means the complete inability because of an accident or sickness of a covered employee to perform all the duties of his/her own occupation for the first two (2) years of disability.
