Common use of Temporary Employee Clause in Contracts

Temporary Employee. (A) A temporary employee shall mean an employee who is hired to fill short-term positions, normally of less than three months duration, or to fill vacancies resulting from leaves of absence or maternity leaves where such positions cannot be filled through temporary promotion. Extensions or reappointments to the same position “normally of less than three months duration,” noted above, shall be by mutual agreement.

Temporary Employee. (Aa) A "temporary employee shall mean employee" means an employee who is hired to fill short-term positions, normally of less for a period not longer than three ten (10) working months. It shall be specifically stated and acknowledged at the time of hiring that the individual is a temporary employee. A temporary employee shall mean an have no seniority under this agreement. At the conclusion of this temporary period the Company will decide whether such employee who is hired to fill short-term positionswill be terminated or, normally of less than three months duration, or to fill vacancies resulting from leaves of absence or maternity leaves where such positions cannot be filled through temporary promotion. Temporary Employee. Temporary Employee. (A) 2.2.1 A temporary employee shall mean is an employee with a workload of fifty (50) percent or more appointed to a regular position to replace a regular employee who is hired on leave from her/his position or on leave due to fill short-term positions, normally another assignment in the College for a stipulated period of less than three months duration, or to fill vacancies resulting from leaves of absence or maternity leaves where such positions cannot be filled through temporary promotiontime. Extensions or reappointments In addition to the same position “normally of less than three months duration,” noted above, shall and upon mutual agreement between the parties, an appointment of a temporary employee may be by mutual agreementmade to meet an emergent need.

Temporary Employee. Temporary Employee. Temporary employment shall be for a special project or a specified period of time not exceeding one hundred twenty (120) calendar days duration, except for employees in temporary vacancies created under Articles 10.05 (Parenting Leave), 19 (Sick Leave) 10.04 (Union Leave) or to fill vacancies resulting from leaves of absence or maternity leaves where such positions cannot be filled through temporary promotion. Extensions or reappointments to the same position “normally of less than three months duration,” noted above, shall be when extended by mutual agreementagreement between the Union and the Employer.

(A) A temporary employee shall mean refers to an employee who is hired from outside the bargaining unit for a limited and specified period of time to fill shorteither a temporary position (not to exceed 180 days) or a temporary vacancy (not to exceed one calendar year) which has resulted from the unavailability of a full or part-term positions, normally of less than three months duration, time employee due to an authorized absence from work and when no other qualified full or to fill vacancies resulting from leaves of absence part- time employee has applied for the temporary vacancy or maternity leaves where position. The temporary vacancy shall be identified as such positions cannot and shall be filled through temporary promotion. Extensions or reappointments posted pursuant to the same position “normally provisions of less than three months duration,” noted above, shall be by mutual agreementArticle IV (Posting Positions).

Temporary Employee. Extensions or reappointments posted pursuant to the same position “normally provisions of less than three months duration,” noted above, shall be by mutual agreementArticle IV (Posting Positions).

Temporary Employee. (A) A temporary employee shall mean is an employee who is hired to fill short-for special projects or temporary needs and for a specified term. Temporary employees hired for a term positions, normally of less than three exceeding four (4) consecutive months duration, or to fill vacancies resulting from leaves of absence or maternity leaves where such positions cannot be filled through temporary promotion. Extensions or reappointments to the same position “normally of less than three months duration,” noted above, shall be governed by mutual agreementthe provisions of Appendix “A”. For the purpose of this paragraph, successive terms within one (1) year of each other shall be considered as a single term. The company shall provide the Local with the names, locations and term of temporary employees.
