Temporary Contract. The temporary portion of a job share arrangement is filled with a temporary contract and is subject to all rights and conditions of the Collective Agreement. For the sake of this Article, the term of the temporary contract ends when the employee on the permanent contract or the Employer terminates the job share arrangement. If the employee holding the temporary contract resigns/retires from the job share, the job share shall be terminated.
Temporary Contract. A temporary contract ends automatically by operation of law when the period specified in this contract has elapsed. In case of temporary contracts of at least six months' duration, the employer will inform the employee in writing, no later than one month before the expiry date of the contract, of any continuation of the contract and of the conditions under which the contract will then be continued.

Temporary Contract. 1. A temporary contract may be issued to an employee hired for a temporary position or to replace an employee granted a leave of absence by the President or designee. Each temporary contract shall be subject to the provisions of this Agreement.
Temporary Contract. (a) Temporary Contract Employees are those hired by the Employer on a temporary contract basis with a termination date or expected date of termination established at the time of hire. Temporary Contract Employees may be terminated from employment at the end of the contract term with no further entitlement under this Agreement to notice, lay off, recall or otherwise.

Part-time Unit Members who are hired as temporary Unit Members will be provided an automatic Break in service letter covering the time spent in a temporary contract in order to preserve vesting status.

Temporary Contract. D.5.1. Except as set out below, a Temporary Employee who has worked more than the equivalent of two (2) consecutive work years shall be made a Permanent Employee. For positions that require registration (see Letter of Understanding) in a professional college, membership in the appropriate professional college will be required in order to be eligible for permanent status.
